I do know that alien activity in the vicinity of the Earth has decreased since Britney Spears took to the airwaves. Maybe the 'grey men' have trundled of to Pluto, I understand the inhabitants are strictly jazzers there.

I believe that it makes sense that the leaders would want to consolidate their power. And they would probably instill a certain amount of religious cultic nature into their meetings, in order to unify their own positions. So, they probably do something like that.
But, I doubt very much that aliens are involved. I mean, that's a lot of work to enslave a population - why not just attack, death rays, chains, that kind of thing. Or is that just my primitive ape-mind thinking?

You ask what's happening? People are waking up at last. The long religious controling sleep may well be coming to a close for much of mankind. We need to be open-minded and ready, as I feel there are great changes on the horizon that we will be a part of. Maybe we will learn some totally new and awesome things, which will radically turn society inside out.
