Wasn't Bolton selected in April 2018? What did President Trump say about Bolton's selection and qualifications then? I have searched by can only find items about recent events.

I've not confirmed anything but 'heard' he goes back to the Reagan era - served under Bush and Obama. He's a hawk re/Middle East but has been on board re/the issues with China -- spot on in that regard. Afghanistan expense (lives not to mention costs) are enough - the US needs repairs -- roads, bridges, homeless, mentally disturbed or challenged, drugs, etc., etc.

Here you go Blondie:
As is his wont, President Trump praised Ambassador Bolton as a "fantastic representative" on his team.

Now that Advisor Bolton turns out not to be a sycophantic lockstepper , President Trump will view him as 'persona non grata'

If he doesn't support President Trump's agenda he shouldn't be onboard -- this is normal. Of course he can have his own opinions but Bolton isn't the president. President Trump has appointed some excellent people - thankfully.

He's been stuck with enough losers from previous admins.
LV101 ...
Forget that Trump was stuck with losers (i.e Bolton).
Trump can't keep his own people that he picks! The last I checked, Bolton is/was a hand-picket Trumper.

He's good at walking em -- he's picked some winners. I think it goes with the territory and the swamp issues (both sides) but he's clearly no lifer politician knowing these characters -- not that they benefitted Bush or Obama.
I didn't strike your 'Dislike' button -- yet!! lol - appreciate your views and someday we'll have a president both sides are gaga over (yeah, right) -- I thought it'd be Trump - no, not really.
