    The god of the ancient Hebrews (YHWH) murdered innocent people within his own chosen civilization as well other civilizations who had worshiped other gods.

    Yes and he's going to murder the majority of humanity once again burn them alive soon according to some worshipers such as the JWS.

    So is this a god of love ?

    Finkelstein, Jehovah God will send Jesus and the angels for that job. That will remove all badness from the earth. At last all suffering will end. And those who are left will at last get a good life.

    Modern humans just like us have lived on earth for more than 200,000 years. They have lived lives that were nasty, brutish and short and through all those millennia god watched in silence.

    So god is still a god of love when he sends his son and angels to burn people alive killing off most of humanity .

    When he said he wouldn't kill people by drowning humanity like he did in Noah's flood, that's a indication of an act of love for sure.

    Yes that would make all all logical and rational sense.

    Do you mean empathy for others? Sexual desire? Positive actions on behalf of others regardless of our feelings? Loyalty to our partner? Care for our offspring? A preference for chocolate?

    Evolutionary psychology accounts for all of these moral instincts and others.

    In this regard, it is not a matter of what I mean by LOVE and it doesn't matter in your belief in evolution...it only matters what LOVE means to smiddy and if he feels he possesses that LOVE and where does he feel he got it from...the LOVE that he feels he has that Jehovah doesn't.

    Also to add to this is where did he get the info for his 6 points he listed?

    To use a theoretical analogy .......

    Lets say the great of day Armageddon did come and you witnessed fire raining down on a group non Christians lets say Muslims (men,woman and children) and you saw them screaming and crying as they were being burnt alive would still hold that the gods Jesus and Yahweh were gods of love ?

    Would you conclude that they are not God's of Love because of that? If so how is it that you come to that conclusion? Where to you get your understanding of what LOVE is and is not?
