Has China Already Become the Equal of the USA - superseding the Knorr/Franz March of World Powers?

I would personally say, this was going to happen, but not quite yet.

But then I noticed this recently published story in the South China Morning Post (a newspaper once owned by Rupert Murdoch, but now owned by Jack Ma, one of China's richest men).

    Quote:

How China has become America’s equal, as showcased at a Harvard forum
    Author: Robert Delaney
On the campus of Harvard Business School this past weekend there was little doubt among corporate leaders and investors gathered for an annual conference that China had arrived as an equal to the United States.
Keynote speeches, panel discussions and a business pitch competition at the 20th annual Harvard China Forum convened under the theme “Sharing the Road Ahead” in English.

And, I got to thinking about Donald Trump's reversal of all the things he said he was going to do to China in his campaign speeches, and the reality now that he acts as President of the USA. As President, what information did he become privy to? Information that apparently made him think twice about his previous statements.

So just like that history is made. NO war marked the transition. And also just like that, you can toss out the door another JW, prophecy.

The status quo will go on in wt land. China is just an extension of the Anglo American world power, Hong Kong, the Boxer rebellion quelled,-- the same way that Britain is considered an extension of the Roman Empire, the bath, Hadrian's wall and all.

I would have to say no. The USA still has the all mighty dollar, it's still the gold standard currency of the world. With that in place and the military which light years ahead of China there's not much hope for anyone to take the US place at the top.

In order for a new country to arise It would mean a country or set of countries would have to dislodge the US dollar from its perch and the currency used to buy oil and the whole banking industries use of the dollar including the World Bank and the IMF. These banks are the credit cards for most of the other countries in the world and thier slaves to them.

These countries would have to do all this with out the US having a clue and getting thier military involved. Sudam Hussein tried it but didn't realize what he was stepping into and we see what happened to him. Countries are eroding the US influence by making trade deals with one another and not including the US and its currency in the deal but it will take time. As these countries make these deals the US pushes back.

In the end it will be the US that will kill it self off much the way Rome did.

Goldman Sachs predicts that by 2025 China's economy will be about equal to the U.S. and by 2050 will be double the size.

If it wasn't for the U.S. government bail-out of Wall St during the economic crisis of 2007, China would have withdrawn its money from the U.S. and that would have seen a collapse of the U.S. dollar.

As Obama said concerning the crisis; 'it was almost the end'.

The Watchtower magazine has repeatedly told believers that Britain and the USA in biblical prophecy is a world power, namely the Anglo-American world power, and that Britain is the continuation of the Roman Empire by reason that Rome once controlled Britain.

Hong Kong was also part of that world power for many years as it was under British rule. Eventually it returned, in principle, back to the control of mainland China.

Therefore the Roman Empire overlapped the British Empire which joined the USA in an overlap to form the Anglo-American world empire (power) which overlapped to included Hong Kong which has since overlapped to include China.

Evidently it's an overlapping world empire which includes Rome, Britain, the USA, Hong Kong, and China.

China overlaps Taiwan by claiming it as it's own but the USA refuses to recognize this.

This leaves a few questions that need answering. Who is now the king of the north according to the Watchtower? They don't know. Who is now the king of the south according to the Watchtower? They don't know.

But one think we can all agree on is that the Watchtower is definitely the king of pain and the governing body are the court jester.

To cement this overlapping claim, China now controls de facto all the islands in the South China-, aka West Philippine sea. The philippines are a past Colony of the US, so it is here strengthening its claim as the seventh World, since the territorial claims of China and the Philippines over lap. see post 2 above. ha ha.

The green book "Your Will Be Done On Earth" about Daniels prophecy can evidently be put in the garbage now.

The WTS has claimed that the "seven world powers" were only seven because those were the ones who had a direct impact on "Jehovah's people".

It's why they can get away without mentioning, for example, 17th century Spain or 13th century Mongolia as "world powers" - while those were indeed "world powers" at the time, there were no organized "Jehovah's people" for them to boss around.

It's all preposterous, of course - but "preposterous" can pretty much describe any WTS position on the meaning of history, or heck, even history itself (man on earth for only 6000 years? A literal worldwide flood literally covering every centimeter of earth for over a year, just 440 years ago? Really?).

The JWs "Pay Attention to Daniel's Prophecy" (1999 and 2006) is also "old Truth" and has been removed from JW.ORG and Watchtower Online Library.

China's military, although mostly still a regional power, is fast developing technologically. In a regional war, in China's backyard, the US would have its hands full.

If nukes got involved, the Chinese can do some very heavy damage to the US, even though their arsenal is much smaller.

In Daniel chapter 11, the "king of the North" is always spoken of as an individual, not a nation or empire.
