This is not spam, I'm just Just curious, would you use this technology for your children or mate?

Using the Internet, you can continuously monitor its location anywhere in USA. You can lock it in place or allow remote release by internet or telephone. If cut, it sends a signal to headquarters who forward it to 911.

Now parents can place their children under house arrest.

I say, hide a GPS locator in your teen's cell phone. You will ALWAYS know where they are.

People putting their kids in shackles to keep them safe now.

LoL... The kid wouldn't have any luck trying to run away... I see the point of if it being cut because the kid could have been kidnapped...LoL, but that's a little over board... speaking as a teenager, Thats Locater takes away all the freedom lol!

I wouldn't consider it under house arrest...ever lose your kid at the mall??? I thought I had once...she was 4 and was hiding...I totally freaked out. The feeling that someone make have taken your child and you will never see them alive again...I can do without that!

Hell yes I would use this.

I agree Xena for young children I think its a great idea - I lost Liam in a big shop when he was about 2, he knocked something off the shelf, I bent down to pick it up and when I looked up he was gone (amazing how fast they can move when they want too ). My stomach just dropped and I felt sick, it was so scary - luckily I found him within a couple of minutes but I will never forget that feeling

Edited again because of my crappy spelling

I think it's a good idea if the worst happens.

There is also a mobile phone / game coming out that had GPS stuff built in (www.gametrac.com I think)

Tracker systems have been available for valuable things like cars for years so why not for the ultimate in valuable?

BTW: Did you know you can track a mobile phone to within 100 metres? It's a service here in the UK but maybe it's not available in the US yet.

Yes, but the child must be at a certain age. Laws should be written.
