I have stopped fiddling with it... for now.
hubby says I drive him nuts because I keep moving all the ornaments around.

Lee, that's a stunning tree! Ours is going up tomorrow - but it won't be as spectacular as yours. It's going right in the front window (hope JWs pass by ) and we're determined to have a really good Christmas. We've got loads of choccies to hang on the tree (which won't be there long ). You know, I REALLY love Christmas.
Have a truly great time, Lee. You thoroughly deserve it.

Beautiful tree! It looks like you've been amassing ornaments for a bit, hey? I love pulling out our boxes with decorations and rediscovering ornaments that the kids have made, or that otherwise hold special meaning for me. I'd post a shot of our tree but it looks kinda funky, LOL...we've had to remove all of the decorations from the bottom fourth of it as our kitten (Conan the Barbarian) won't leave them alone. I'm just grateful that he hasn't yet tried to climb it!

We erected ours yesterday too. Lots of lights and baubles, including one big one that has a Texas oil well embossed upon it.

I keep trying to make those images smaller but they just refuse to shrink to a reasonable size.
I started out by picking up ornaments in the after xmas sales and dollar stores just so I wouldn't have an empty tree.
Over the years I buy one or two special ones and add them to the collection. This year I went a bit wild and bought a few new ones because I just loved them. I am at the point now of beginning to get rid of the dollar store ones and replacing them with the new.
Many were recieved as gifts or given by friends so they are special. Another thing hubby thinks I am weird about is that I take pictures of the individual ornaments - well my favorites.
