WOW, Lady Lee
what a beautiful tree.
I'm so jealous when I see beautiful trees, because not having decorated trees ever, I'm just happy my lights stay up and what few ornaments we have don't fall down. lol
Maybe some year my tree with look at beautiful as yours.

ps, I'm in such a wonderfully happy mood this year and to think I used to think people who celebrated xmas were just old grouches this time of year. Sheeesh, what I lie I used to believe.

Joy, we bought a pre-lit, artificial tree. It is gorgeous, and most of the work is already done. We hung dozens of ornaments, but the lights make it. I know lots of people prefer the real thing, but we love this one. We bought scented candles that make the house smell like a real tree is here. Our 18 year old grand daughter was here last week, and scolded her mother for buying a fake tree this year, saying "smell that real tree grandma has.................isn't that nice?" Then her mother enlightened her.

I love the artificial trees. The cats avoid it. I can put it up when I want and take it down when I want. Clean up is easy and I hate the thought of a tree dying for this (yes I'm odd that way). I have about 300 tiny lights that I put on this tree. I would love one like yours Mulan - Maybe one day.
Way to go on faking out the grandaughter with the smell. Gotta get some of that stuff.

LOL @ Joy being glad her ornaments don't fall down
We sorta have a tradition of going and picking out a real tree every year; as much as I would love the convenience of a fake tree, there's still the little kid in me that gets a huge kick out of picking out a live one and bringing it home. And I LOVE the smell! As for the cats...well, this year our tree looks pretty weird b/c our new kitten won't leave the ornaments alone...so now there are NONE on the bottom third of the tree...*sigh* Maybe next year.

The best ones I've found are Yankee Candle Company candles. The scents we like the best are Christmas Wreath, Mistletoe, and Christmas Berries. Really strong odor...........and really nice too.
