Two biggest issues for Watchtower right now

I listened to the sanderson audio. A few take-aways from his indoctrination speech to the auditors.

    1) sanderson's comment early in the audio about branch financial reports, "We have no way of knowing the truthfulness of these reports." He just in so many words accused those preparing the branch reports of lying! Shouldn't he trust that fellow JW's would tell the G.O.D. the truth?

    2) He says. "If something doesn't look right don't look the other way." Well why the Hell not? BITD when I did a quarterly audit on the congregation accounts I noticed no less than two glaring discrepancies in one month. Brought it to the attention of both the MS who was account servant and the COBE when I went over my findings. Got pretty well shut down. Then a few months later noticed the account servant had forgot his file case in the library, so went through and found that months audit report. The one I had filled out and signed was gone! A different one was in it's place with a glowing report about everything is just fine!

From Gomer Ekrann who closed the audio came this statement, "In the last year or two there has been a lot more emphasis on "OUR" money. This will give the governing body confidence that "OUR" money is not bleeding off somewhere." He just subtly accused the brothers of stealing. Remember sanderson talking about the Philippines where boxes and cans were disappearing?

As stated earlier this is not about anything other than pure, unadulterated greed by the WT. If they were truly concerned about an open and transparent financial accounting they would print it for everyone to see instead of hiding it.

FedUpJW - “… this is not about anything other than pure, unadulterated greed by the WT…”

Maybe, but I don’t think so.

There’ve been more and more indications lately that the Org is in serious financial trouble.

The $3B they got from the sale of the Brooklyn properties is apparently gone, due to massive over-budget costs on Warwick, hundreds of CSA settlements that haven’t even hit the news, and payouts for outstanding debts that the rank-and-file have no idea even existed…

…the membership is the lowest educated in the world, and therefore the lowest earning, so they can barely make ends meet, let alone financially support the organization with meager donations…

…and the sheer fucking panic the Org displays when it looks like they might lose their tax exemption or get cut off from the public teat in some parts of the world is the strongest indication, IMO.

Agreed, however IMO their financial trouble is due in very large part to their now becoming obvious to any who see, GREED. There is not a meeting that goes by from what I hear locally that there is not at least one mention of giving money.

I do not say this being argumentative. Just stating my opinion.

…They said the information I made available to the public was enough for apostates to undermine the organization…”

All this does is suggest that on some level, more and more WT reps grasp that the WTS is not “God’s Exclusive Earthly Organization”…

…because if it really was, it couldn’t be undermined.

It would be, for all intents and purposes, invincible and destined to prevail, no matter what.

Nothing noteworthy here in this post that is an issue.

Human conduct can be written off and offenders replaced not mitigating the solidity of being God’s org to convinced believers —and logically. The real logical issues are the teachings of 1914 and the last days being true and if directions that might have cause injury or death were from erroneous interpretation of the Bible. JW true believers won’t be unconvinced though and will see things through.

If it was greed, it wasn’t for wealth for its own sake, but rather, a means to an end.

Every decision made and action taken…

    every… one…

is done so with the overarching goal of shoring up the premise of “God’s Exclusive Earthly Organization”, and mitigating any threats to its continued survival…

…despite the face-fucking irony that - as I explained a couple posts back - if said premise were really true, they wouldn’t have to.

(I wonder how the WT reps will "grasp" that, lol!😂)

Never mind about really serving God. The bottom line, money. Money is Watchtower 's great motivator. That's all they care about.
