gag! Lawrence Welk brings back memories of Sunday evenings growing up. The shows were Wonderful World of Disney, Wild Kingdom and Lawrence Welk. We used to grown when LW came on, come ON do we HAVE to watch this show every week? I'm not sure to this day if my parents really liked it or if they thought it was suitable torture for us in return for whatever transgressions we may or may not have committed during the week.

Gretchen, I see you and I are about the same age. Lawrence Welk, Disney, and Ed Sullivan on Sundays. I played clarinet in band so was only interested in that. Days were different then.

Stacy, if you are curious and need a laugh, many PBS stations re-run LW on Sundays around 5:30 or so.
