The best revenge is living well.
Exactly!! And don't let them have a hold on you, by hiding from them. (says Marilyn, who hopes they don't see the Christmas tree)
I think we need to have a wonderful, incredible, fulfilling life, and let them know it. Let them see at every turn, that we are surviving without them. Keep them guessing as to why we are so happy. (they think they are the only ones who are truly happy) Let's prove them wrong.

I think an end to the shunning policy so that people can decide to leave freely with their family.
Also, general awareness amongst the general public so that they become more of a niche religion and can't inflict any more damage on anyone else.
Whatever bogus beliefs anyone peddles, there will always be some people to swallow it ... even "millions now living will never die" and stuff like that ! So, I don't think they will ever really vanish, especially in the Christian Fundamentalist heartland of the USA, but I expect their influence to be vastly diminished.

Have y'all forgotten EVERYTHING you ever learned? The answer to this question is right there in the, uh, sorry to have to use this word... Bible...where Jesus said, I have conquered the world.
The victory of the WT won't come in like Armageddon, and it won't be complete and utter destruction. It will come a step at a time as individuals "conquer the world" of the Watchtower by shedding its disruptive influence over their lives and the lives of their families.
Everywhere this is happening. Whole families are checking out, first mentally, then physically. This board stands as powerful testimony to the winds of change that are sweeping through the organization... not in terms of doctrine or policy, but in terms of personal conviction and action.
Your individual role in this fight is to get free, tell others, and move on. You will look around one day see the WTS as a very small thing, without stature and without any teeth. It may not have changed very much at all, but that's how YOU will see it. I think that's the one victory you can count on.

I'd say that absolute victory over the Watchtower would be not just the organization collapsing, but all their money and assets being redistributed among all the people they snubbed and hurt.

A torch-lit mob, dressed in liederhosen and carrying pitchforks surround Bethel/Paterson.
They drag Governing Body members out into the street and hang them, displaying their
bodies Mussolini-style. The Society's properties are burned to the ground and the land
is used to construct a sewage plant. All publications are recalled and turned into waste
pulp.
(sigh!)
Ok, that's not gonna happen ( I can dream, can't I?)
The victory will come when most Witnesses are no different from members of any
other religion. They get divorced, send their kids to college, chase the dollar.
and stop wasting their lives on bankrupt dreams of tyrannical Theocrats.
That day isn't so far off. Why do you think the Governing Body is worried about
"assimilation" and losing Witness youth? Amen and amen

God will deal with them. Or the karmic wheel will turn, however you want to view it.
And their end will be even better than we could have imagined or done ourselves.

When my son and I first started playing chess together, he insisted on playing the game to the bloody end. I would be chasing his pathetic King and Pawn around the board with my rook and knight for over an hour, and he STILL refused to admit defeat. He held out hope that I would make a mistake and we would have to declare a stalemate.
Consider by comparison, how two masters play chess together. Often a master will admit defeat, when nothing of the kind is apparent. A master sees where things are headed and bows out before it becomes humiliating.
I think the end to the shunning, modification of the blood doctrine, and/or if the organization begins normalizing itself with the rest of Christendom's Churches, would be enough of a strategic victory to ensure eventual defeat. Also, if the organization refuses to adjust these unjust policies, it would be enough of a strategic error to ensure eventual defeat. In the first instance, the organization would lose it's hardcore members to splinter groups, resulting in a smaller, weaker, but more "normal" Church. This would be similar to what has happened already to the World Wide Church of God. In the second instance, they will drive away the normal people and be stuck trying to train fools and fanatics to run an organization.

Victory over the WTS?
Besides closing down in shame?
End of shunning, pure and simple.

It would be a victory of sorts if they could cease being so radical. If they could just be like other mainstream religions, having different beliefs, but without the severe shunning practices and the cult tendencies of "we're right and everyone else is wrong". Families could still be families and friends could still be friends. Religion would just be something to do on the weekend. Then again, let's just forget religion as a whole. Let's just all show love and compassion.
Ah, sorry, I must have been dreaming.........
