Im just going to be at home with the wife, dog, two cats and maybe have a beer with the neighbor.

Babysitting my grandkids so their parents can go out. We will watch Dck Clark Rockin Eve, sip a little wine and make noise with the kids. Wild isn't it?

My best friend owns a large fireworks stand and we (my husband and I) go there and bring in the new year with about 30 people while my friends husband shoots off about $100 worth of fireworks. It is so great spending time with my best friends.

I will be visiting a couple of friends of mine who will be married on New Years Eve.
If you remember the album by the Cowboy Junkies "The Trinity Sessions" - that very building where the album was recorded.
Later, I have to head on over to work, and prepare for my New Years Eve gig.
Oh...btw, if you're in the Toronto area, and you are interested, there's a cool NYE gig happening there, with "The Paradise Rangers" and "Rancho Mysterion" performing. Cover is only $10 CDN. Things get under way, around 8:30 p.m. onward.

Because I've accepted an assignment for Ministry School Friday night, I'll be pooring over the literature for my presentation. I've been asked to prepare a talk on "The Bounties of the Kingdom Ministry Work" with special emphasis on making publishing attractive for the youth. This most important task of keeping the young witnesses spotless and in harness for the work of Jehovah is too important for me to waste my time with silly pagan celebrations.
May Jehovah open your eyes to the evils of which you speak.

It's Piph's and my first New Year, so we'll probably try and start a yearly tradition by going to a bar, dancing, and getting pissed.

I'll either be spending it at home, crying in my Bailey's, or spend it whooping it up with my newly divorced cousin whose birthday happens to be the First. Anyone who wishes could kindly pray for the latter.
