Things went a bit different: we had our little dinner at 18.00 hours, then we got home where I made "oliebollen" = traditional kind of fritter - only on New Years Eve - then Viv went for Rotterdam and returned fore her car was making a strange noise....

So after all I spend the evening with Viv until 1 o'clock when she went home and I made my first 3km walk in 2004 with my dogs.

Great - lots of firework on 3km distance (the nearest village)

Happy 2004 to all of you.

we had a blast with our grandkids. We talked about all the traditions that go with the celebration (they are 4), and it was a wonderful night. I don't think i'll ever be any happier than i am now. Grandpa and i had a glass of champagne at 12mn, and the kids toasted to chocolate milk.We watched the ball drop at Times Square and exchanged kisses. We have pics to remember these precious memories.

Btw, Dick Clark is finally looking OLD, but still has incredible energy. But he does now look old. So sad, remember him from the original American Bandstand,.

HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL,MAY 2004 BE THE YEAR THE WTS GETS THE PANTS SUIED OFF THEM.WE CAN HOPE.
