IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT:
This year is the year of the seventeen year locust, at least in Maryland/Virginia. My son was born January 4, 1987, and there were "17 year" locusts covering every surface of every thing, everywhere. I guess we'll find out if mother nature is accurate with the counting thing, huh.....? Actually, XW has 17 extra canals in thur, but she's too modest to say it.
Glad the first part is over....when I had mine..the dentist found other things to do for an hour after he numbed me!..The shots were wearing off and he couldn't give me another..said it wouldn't numb me. So he had to shoot the stuff right into the tooth nerve..sounds awful but it really wasn't painful..
They just took a while because one of my nerves were Kinked
Does that mean I'm kinky????
Had several done. Didn't really need any pain pills..tylenol helped a lot. Pain pills made me sick!

OUCH! I hate dentists. Haven't been to one in 12 or 13 years. The only decent thing my parents did for me, was genetic -- good teeth and hair that doesn't fall out.
Here's hoping the drugs came XW and you're feeling just a little bit better this morning.

Unfortunately, I, too, can relate. Have had root canal, and then was lucky enough to recently have my rearmost molar break up into pieces when the dentist tried an extraction. Had to bring the big daddy dentist in to finish digging the roots out of my jaw.
Hope the pain and soreness go away SOON.

Okay, as silly as it sounds this has worked for me: If my head hurts and I stub my toe, I forget about my head. Misdirecting pain can help. I read that today. Just thought I'd add that.

Since MN is out of the playoffs, I'll be hoping the Packers do well.... that is as close to home as I can get after the MN... not to mention it is still our division..
