For too long, psychiatry, psychologists, psychotherapists and counsellors have used their profession to "medicalise" non-heterosexuals and remained silent when non-heterosexuals have been subjected to unfair, discriminatory practises but welcomed then with open arms when, beaten down by ignorant society, gays and lesbians have "agreed" to be medicalised" in the name of religion.

Before classes even started last fall, teachers underwent serious “gender training” given by QMUNITY, an organization for LGBTQQ2S (lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans, queer, questioning and two-spirit) people. Teachers were told in no uncertain terms, for instance, that “no one is 100-per-cent male or female” and that everyone is somewhere on the “gender spectrum.”
These people are like the mafia. They have no place promoting their idiocy in schools and it's scary how this leftist crap is becoming more and more prevalent in what are meant to be centers for education and learning, not dogma. The bullying and intimidation where people actually lose their job because of their campaigns has to stop.
Ultimately, this stuff hurts their cause IMO because it promotes resentment and backlash. Also worth noting that they don't talk for everyone and they also often try to shout-down and attack any of their own group who don't agree with them.
If you want a more balanced view on transgenderism from an actual "trannie" I can recommend watching some videos by Blaire White. She's to the point on calling BS on a lot of this stuff (and also very funny).

I agree. But it often goes beyond that and becomes less about "equality" and equal treatment under the law and more about having socio-political power over others. I'm with Jordan Peterson - I'm not using stupid gender pronouns, most people are male or female and the ones that want to be the other to their birth gender also want to be either male or female too. be as gay or lesbian as you want at home, you don't need a special title or a badge because it's not an achievement and doesn't need applause or praise. I don't tell you what I do in bed, I don't want to hear what you do.
Soon everyone will have to be a transgender, less able-bodied, african-indian, dwarf, muslim to have any opinion in life without being fired for it.

I do keep hearing about this but have yet to come across this in my clinical practice - and no colleagues have reported this. Perhaps New Zealand is different. I can imagine it would be a difficult for resourcing agencies to come up with a form that will please everyone. May be over time this will be less of an issue.
