GREAT story haahah.....oh that is a riot.
I don't like Lieberman really, but I must say that he is a much lesser evil than Dean would be in the white house...Dean has too much of that "angry young man" thing going to gets tiresome after a while.
He was governor of Vermont for godsakes...it is just really a suburb of New York....
eeek...it scares me that Bush may be the lesser evil of all the choices in November....eeeeeeeekkk thats how it was the last election...I don't like Bush at all but was soooo relieved that Gore did not win.

So, why DID Ashcroft excuse himself from 'the case'?
It's "recuse" and it means he withdrew from judging the case because of a conflict of interest. Obviously, he wouldn't want to be in the position of having to determine the guilt or innocence of a man to whom he owes so much - that won't do at all, especially with a liberal hack media that has already decided to paint W as a Hitler-wannabe. Just a political move.
