Well as I head out for work our current wind chill factor is making it -16 F (thats -27C). I have to walk from the train to my job!! Its not that far... but still!
This is what we here call WICKED cold!

I just checked the weather this morning, and there is a Extreme wind chill warning! For good reason too! It says that it may go down to -47C or -53F!!!!

Well I've heard of having snow days from school but this is the first time I've ever heard of a 'cold day'. Nearly all the schools in New England are closed today due to the extreme record breaking cold. Currently its -21 with the windchill factor! brrrr. I'm waiting for someone to come light the pilot light on the furnace because it went out! . Oh well at least I dont have to go to work and walk in this.

It's a nice toasty -6C (around 19F) here, but we're in for 10cm (4 inches) of snow today. We've already been dumped on lots over the past couple of weeks. Lots of people are walking on the streets because the lack of plowed sidewalks. Snow's fun to drive in (when you have 4WD).
