  This is just an educated guess, but I think this is neither a "hailstone message" or "final message," but after watching everything from the Annual Meeting, I think this is an attempt to turn JW.org and the entire Watchtower religion and its theology into what has happened to the Mormons. Have you seen their website lately, especially after they rejected their name "Mormon" and now only call themselves "Christians" and emphasize "Christ"?

  Notice HERE all the love, love, love...

  With the Governing Body's information that there's no more dogmatic information on when the end is coming, and who is to be judged, etc., there is no "hailstone message" coming and no "final message" either. How could there be?

  You also told people to stop reporting hours? Why? Some legal reason? Nah. I doubt it. I don't think there is a sinister reason behind any of this behind one simple factor.

  The main reason behind all of this is that the Governing Body knows they can't tell anyone straight out that the end isn't coming and that 1914 is bogus, etc. There is no reason to be preaching about something that isn't "just around the corner." But they don't want to tell people to just straight out "okay, you can stop now." It is easier to just "pull the rug out" from under everyone, so to speak, and insert a new one while no one notices: a regular Protestant religion, like the Mormons--or the one the Mormons now have where they now claim it is all about Jesus and try to downplay the word "Mormon." (Their latest prophet was told by God that He doesn't want them to be called "Mormons" anymore, now after more than 100 years of using that name and millions spent on the latest "I'm a Mormon!" advetising campaign that the last prophet was told by God to invest in.)

  This new brochure is designed to teach the Witnesses how to "love people" because Jehovah's Witnesses have been taught for over 100 years to hate people. Non-JWs, remember, are "Satan." Now they have to learn a new thing.

  Of course it still remains to be seen exactly how this will play out. JWs smile, act nice, have nice manners in public, but are like little dogs on a leash while being walked by the Governing Body. As soon as the leash breaks, they go after worldly people and act mean and judgmental and attack and call them worldly and under the control of Satan.

  Can they truly learn to "love," truly be a new religion that will no longer have a dogmatic message? According to what just happened with this "new light," they no longer have one anymore.

  "Love people" isn't something new... it's the same principle of "agape" love—love mankind, love your neighbor, and out of this love you want them to be saved so you teach them the good news of the Kingdom, and if they are honest-hearted sheeplike ones, they will respond favorably and take the necessary steps to become a dedicated and baptized disciple of Christ.

  This doesn't contradict hating either. JWs are taught to hate what Jehovah presumably hates. JWs shouldn't hate people per se, but their ungodly behavior.

  I heard a conversation the other day in which an elder was speculating that there could be a sudden rush of people coming into the org just before the end, based on what has been said recently at the Annual Meeting, etc.

  The problem with this theory is that:
  

  1) it completely contradicts what the org has been saying for decades that there would be no "mass conversion" at the last minute (although let's face it, the org has been doing a 180° turn on lots of long-held teachings lately)

  2) Perhaps more importantly, it seems to contradict what Jesus said at Matthew 24, that the "conclusion of the system of things" would be like the "days of Noah" when people were "eating and drinking, marrying and being given in marriage" and that they "took no note" until it was too late. If that really is how the "end" would be, then there can be no last minute mass conversion.

  A final thought - with all the dumbing down and simplifying in the org, if there were to be a sudden last minute conversion, they would be far less able to cope with it, with fewer Halls, fewer appointed men to take the lead, and hardly any Witnesses capable to taking 'productive' Bible studies these days.

  Can you imagine if hordes of people were begging for Bible studies? In wealthy, Western countries at least, the JWLite publishers of today would be overwhelmed and wouldn't know what to do! Not like the "old school" publishers (who used to be desperate for studies, and many of them prepared and prayed constantly for them!)

  The new "Love people, make disciples" brochure has been leaked and can be found at https://avoidjw.org/whats-new/love-people-new-publication/

  It's a recruiting brochure where JWs are initially instructed to be people focused, natural and to basically tell them what they want to hear then once they've been snared by means of accepting book studies, they are instructed not to talk too much and stick to the study material.
  

  The brochure is a basic guide as to how to go about their preaching work, it's all been said before but suggests they will no longer have campaigns where they focus on a particular 'memorized program'. Of course they will, they are always wishy washy in their approach. Still, they are taking a lighter approach to preaching. The instruction is to engage in chit chat, focusing on the individual and what they would like to tak about. Then they can edge their way into mentioning a 'basic truth'.

  
  There is no focus on the real Bible message. It does mention the term 'good news' but it does not discuss what it is. No mention of the gospel is made at all in all of its 32 pages. It does not talk about faith in Jesus and the significance of his ransom sacrifice in the forgiveness of sins or God's free gift and growing in our love towards God. Yet they talk about reaching a persons heart at the initial stages. Nor does it mention his rulership as King. There is a section devoted to 'Truths we love to teach' which they are instructing JWs to speak about - BASIC TRUTHS. Under "Jesus" they only include these four basic truths about him - He is a Great Teacher, He foretold events we see today, He is God's son and He is not God Almighty. At the very best, it's not until a person gets to the stage of committing to studying do they have the potential of hearing about Christ's sacrifice and God's love.
