Beer for My Horses Lyrics
Well a man come on 6 o'clock news
Said somebody been shot
Somebody's been abused
somebody blew up a building
somebody stole a car
somebody got away
somebody didn't get too far
Yeah, they didn't get too far
Grand pappy told my pappy back in my day
Son a man had to answer for the wicked that he'd done
Take all the rope in Texas
Find a tall oak tree, round up all of them bad boys
Hang them high in the street
For all the people to see
That
Justice is the one thing you should always find
You got to saddle up your boys
You got to draw a hard line
When the gun smoke settles we'll sing a victory tune
And we'll all meet back at the local saloon
And we'll raise up our glasses against evil forces singing
whiskey for my men, beer for my horses
We got too many gangsters doing dirty deeds
too much corruption and crime in the streets
It's time the long arm of the law put a few more in the ground
Send 'em all to their maker and he'll settle 'em down
You can bet he'll set 'em down
Cause
Justice is the one thing you should always find
You got to saddle up your boys
You got to draw a hard line
When the gun smoke settles we'll sing a victory tune
And we'll all meet back at the local saloon
And we'll raise up our glasses against evil forces singing
whiskey for my men, beer for my horses
whiskey for my men, beer for my horses
He knew
Justice is the one thing you should always find
You got to saddle up your boys,
You got to draw a hard line
When the gun smoke settles we'll sing a victory tune
And we'll all meet back at the local saloon
And we'll raise up our glasses against evil forces
Singin' whiskey for my men, beer for my horses
Singing whiskey for my men, beer for my horses
May I rant please

Hi Sheila: I'm so sorry that the weight of the world seems to be hanging on your shoulders. There is much injustice. But mankind must be left to choose which way they will go. Individuals must conform to societies laws and regulations in order to exist comfortably among others, and for some kind of balance. There will always be those who balk at the rules and regulations, but their punnishment here is left up to the governing powers that we have put in place. The final judgement of the soul is left to the creator.
I look at it this way: Sometimes a human has to slip to the depths of degredation before they realize where they are and how they got there; then the choice of pathways in the road is before them and they have an opportunity (sometimes while even in prison) to adjust their thinking processes. So much a part of this, is that many don't "feel" loved; they don't know how to love themselves, and so they are filled with so much loss that it makes them bitter. By experiencing and accepting love, they have an opportunity to change.
If everyone everywhere obeyed every law, where would the spiritual growth come from? We are meant to live our lives and we have great opportunities to look in the mirror and take a new step.
Most things in life are beyond our control. We have to find a way to let go of those things and not dwell on them. By counteracting the negative we find, with love and compassion, we can by example, show a better way.
You don't have to carry this weight right now. Relax.

Jo: I think that is one of my main gripes it seems when something happens such as the abuduction and suspected murder of Drew, the friggin perp is always a prior offender. That just irks my liver. The percentage of perps that re-offend is just sky-high...Thanks for understanding.
Sirona: Thank you. That is the weird thing is I haven't been abused. The thought of it just makes me wanna puke....(I did have a NEAR miss as a child.) I just love kids and the mess these monsters leave just kills me and I wish I was able to do more to help ya know.
Santas: The misconception is that abusers do get a rough time. BUT many times in prison the perps are isolated and protected. I am all for them being in the main populace and yes it should have been at least life for what he did.
Wednesday: That song says it like it is hun. Thank you for bringing my rant to the top lOL

I know exactly what you are saying. I wish that thse a$$holes would be hung from the nearest tree. they should not ever have the opportunity to hurt anyone again. My friend at work his daughter was with another ex friend of mine, he got her drunk and drugged her and when she was wasted he raped her. He told me later that he had sex with my friend's daughter and not to tell him. This guy was a dumbass if he did not think that i was not going to tell my friend that this 31 yr old man had sex with his 14 yr old daughter. When this went to trial, the prosecuters did not push for hardly any punnishment for this creep, and he got to plea in exchange for with 5 yrs probation. This guy was harrassing her the whole time up until the trial and was making threats against all of the people involved with the trial. He even tried to get me fired at my job by making stories up about me. I swear that if i EVER see him again there will be justice served.

In Mass. there's the Amirault family that went to jail---a mother, daughter and son for alleged crimes of molestation. "Tooky" Amirault, the son, was convicted and supposed to be in jail for nearly his entire life. After 20 years and questionable "evidence", he is due to be released soon. Some people feel he should've never gone to jail in the first place. Others feel he served enough time. Still others feel he should rot in jail until he dies. The Court and the parole board has expressed that he should be allowed out of jail......I am not a believer in "throw away the key" just because the charge is molestation. Sometimes it may be warranted but not always. Even murderers can get out of jail after their time is served.

This is the type of case I mean. Why was victim allowed to be re-victimized? Why are others allowed to be vicimized such as yourself....our courts are really blind. Blind to the pain of the victim. I am so sorry that you had to go thru that but you are awesome for reporting it and trying to protect her. I hope she is ok Sheila

In Texas, going to prison means more than merely incarceration....this is what can happen to ANY Texas inmate....Frannie B Subject: Ken Malone in jail again/harassment by
BPP (Board of Pardons & Paroles)
12/28/03
Kenneth has asked me to contact all the yahoo
groups. He has been in Potter=
County Jail since last Monday 12/22/03 and needs
help.
This harassment has been ongoing since his
release on parole, simply becaus=
e he dared to confront the medical abuse he
incurred while incarcerated in T=
DCJ.
The last harassment and arrest was in September
of this year for a "Monitor=
Malfunction."
Many of you know already know Ken. He is a former
TDCJ inmate who is curren=
tly on parole. For those not familiar with his
plight you can read his story=
at http://www.kenmalone.com
When Ken was released from TDCJ he was placed on
the highest level of super=
vision any offender being released can be placed.
These actions were taken b=
ecause of his legal activities. Since this time
he has been AND STILL IS BEI=
NG constantly harassed. It got so bad that he
had to seek a temporary restr=
aining order and preliminary injunction to ensure
that he could even partici=
pate in social rehabilitation programs, attend
college and complete assignme=
nts from these college classes, be involved in
personal relationships with f=
amily, establish contact (defined as seeing,
talking to and/or visiting), wi=
th his natural children and step-children and the
enforcement of Court Order=
ed visitation schedules, go to the church of his
choice (without being sland=
ered), or participate in other religious
activities, earn a decent wage and =
work, live independently, or other normal, daily
life activities. It has bee=
n a constant battle simply because he exercised
his constitutional right and=
filed a civil lawsuit against TDCJ regarding
severe medical neglect and mal=
practice during his stay.
Once again Kenneth Malone is in the Potter County
Jail in Amarillo. Once ag=
ain he is being harassed and has been falsely
arrested for parole violation.=
Ken had written permission from parole to move
to his new house last Friday=
afternoon. He was arrested on Monday the 22 for
violation. He was SET UP b=
y his parole officer Freddy Palacios. I won't
get into all the details but =
we do have recorded proof of this from the
Housing Authority and SWB telepho=
ne company of a call Mr. Palacios changing the
date.
Kenneth's current health is very poor. He
recently had gall bladder surger=
y and is still recovering. He is also blind and
diabetic. Below is a message I posted to yahoo groups last
Sept about the ongoing har=
assments.

I have been talking to Ken on the phone Yahoo
has locked him from
receiving posting from all yahoo groups.(Message from Kenneth Malone)
Hello folks,
This trouble with parole has gone on since I left
the Estelle Unit on
January 31, 2001. On February 1, 2001, my first
supervising officer,
Dense Hefley stated that she was ordered by TDCJ
officials to return me
to prison and since then every officer I have
been assigned has worked
to do this. Since my release I have made many
accomplishments not only
earning two college degrees and enrolling in
Graduate School, but also
winning many awards and being nominated for the
Governor's Barbara
Jordan Award. There are many people on this list
that testify to the
help I have given them in the past, just as there
are many people in
this area that can testify to the service I have
made in my community
even with the harsh and punitive conditions
imposed on me by parole. If
you have not, I invite you to visit my new site
at www.kennethmalone.com
and see what the State is doing to me, and then I
ask but a few simple
favors. I need you to call the above people and
ask them the following
questions:
Many of you have read of the Attorney General's
imitative on parolees
access to the internet and use of computers.
Today, I was confronted by
my newest supervising officer about my
activities, including my website
www.kennethmalone.com (which the Texas Attorney
General has attacked
over 48 times this month) which was set up for my
legal ordeal with the
state. Once again I am under attacked by the
parole division and the
Texas Attorney General for my legal activities.
Since recently
graduating from college and starting graduate
school I have posted my
resume on several web sites seeking employment.
My parole officer did
not like this even though I had permission from
my previous officer;
written permission. I also had written permission
to do my legal and
school work, but now this is being frowned up. My
supervising officer
took major frown upon my Yahoo association which
is there for work with
TPLU and TIFA. I think I have contributed to both
these organizations as
an advocate which is part of my legal duties, but
the AG and my officer
is not seeing it that away. My public profile on
Yahoo was marked
"adult" so no one under 18 could view it, but now
has been shut off by
Yahoo under request by the Texas Attorney
General. What to make of all
this? I believe the state is going to once again
try and send me back to
prison. They have never liked my legal activities
and my helping folks
with their problems, especially against the
prison system and parole.
They especially did not like being sued as the
Attorney General said
about my suit against the parole board and
division. :) But they should
have done what was right. I don't know if this
message will go through.
Many of my messages in the past week have been
held up and delayed by
Yahoo pending reading by the AG's office. That is
what is taking so long
for them to come through. I have sent this to
others in hope that the
voice of the First Amendment is not dead and that
someone else will
stand up for these rights and protect the
liberties that all should the
right to access. I am blind and without a
computer and access to the
tools, I am lost in a world of the sighted.
I thank you in advance for your help and
generosity in this matter. In
the Struggle,

Ken Malone was found guilty today in his kangaroo
court hearing before
bpp of making an order to have has phone
transferred without permission
from his PO. His mother and others adamantly
STATE that he had notified
his PO and gotten that permission. We already
KNOW that it was the PO
that caused his appt. manager to evict him and
the PO knew where he was
to move to on that day. The police were in the
street
ready to take him when the monitor went dead.
There are even phone
records showing his P.O called making changes to
the date the phone was
to be transferred. This is well documented. He
will be sent to TDCJ in
about a week and I think they are going to try to
murder him in order to
get rid of him once he is sent back to TDCJ,
either by medical neglect
or a set up and do not take what I say lightly.
These people are dispicable.

Subject: Kenneth Malone/Murdered By State of
Texas
I regret to have to inform all that Ken Malone
has passed away inside
the Potter County Detention Center.
I spoke to his mother and Aunt and there is no
doubt that Ken is
dead. All the details are not out yet, even to
his mother. They are
preforming an autopsy.
I loved Ken, he was my friend, we spoke on the
phone at at least 2 to 5
times a week. If anyone ever had reformed and
changed ..it was Ken. I
just spoke to him about 2 days ago just before
his kangaroo court
hearing. He was to call me back but instead I
received a call from at&t
stating I cannot receive any more calls from him
due to security reasons
because my bill was 600.00. I had at the time the
feeling this bill was
incorrect, as even at say 10 dollars a call plus
43 calls does not
amount to this much. My first gut feeling was
that they cut him off from
any outside connections in order to kill him. As
a matter of fact I
posted that to this and several other groups just
a couple days ago
(that I felt they were going to murder him). Look
back and see.
When I asked him if he was getting his
medication, he told me he was
denied insulin at Potter County Jail.
I also think his attorney sold him out as I had
to try to gather
evidence to defend Ken. His worthless State
Appointed attorney Van
Robertson acted like he was doing Ken a favor to
even talk to him. I can
say this because I contacted Kens attorney
several times on 3 way with
Ken from the jail and heard the conversions. Van
Robertson acted rude
and was even reluctant to receive a fax from SWB
vice president fraud
division Freddy Dodd, showing that Kens parole
officer Mr.Placiao had
placed calls to SWB after Ken was arrested on 22
nd and had the dates
changed for Kens monitor to be disconnected from
his old residence to
his new. This was proof Kens parole officer lied.
People it is time to stand up and demand that
those who murder and
torture your loved ones be held accountable.
Ken did not deserve to die, for exercising his
constitution rights and
filing lawsuits against the state for medical
mistreatment inside the
walls of tdcj, and harassment from BPP..this is
why he lost his life.
This is a very serious issue.
When the state can commit such acts of gross
injustice, such as was done
to Ken.. be afraid...be very afraid.

AMARILLO GLOBE NEWS
Potter inmate found dead; foul play not suspected
From Staff and Wire Reports
The Potter-Randall Special Crimes Unit is
investigating the death of
a Potter County inmate who died Friday, but a
justice of the peace
said he thinks no foul play was involved.
Kenneth Don Malone, 41, was arrested Dec. 22 for
a parole violation.
He had been housed in a medical isolation unit at
the Potter County
Detention Center, according to a news release.
At approximately 10:15 a.m., Malone was found not
breathing by the
Potter County jail nurse. The nurse entered the
cell and immediately
began performing life-saving procedures.
Additional help was called
to the cell, including an ambulance and fire
department personnel,
Lt. Gary Trupe of the Special Crimes Unit said in
a news release.
Malone was transported to Northwest Texas
Hospital, where he was
pronounced dead at 11:20 p.m. Justice of the
Peace Jim Tipton
responded to the hospital, where he ordered that
an autopsy be
performed to determine the cause of death.
Malone was a convicted sex offender who also
pleaded guilty to
aggravated kidnapping in 1994 and was sentenced
to a 15-year-prison
term. Malone was a frequent critic of the Texas
prison system and
claimed inadequate medical care in the prison
system caused him to go
blind.
Tipton said Friday that Malone suffered from
various medical
problems, but that he thinks no foul play was
involved in Malone's
death.Date: Sun, 11 Jan 2004 15:28:03 -0600 (CST)

Subject: Re: [T.P.L.U] Re: MURDER OF KEN
MALONE/BY STATE OF TEAXS
I never did contact Earle.. like Ken was going to
do,,nor the FBI as
Keneths calls to me were interferred
with. Ken was to call me back after his "Kangaroo
Court"hearing,,but
instead I received a
Recorded message stating that Ken was trying to
call me and that all
calls to me have been blocked from Ken for
"SECURITY REASONS" due to the amount of calls
accepted.. 43 in total...
and that the bill $600.00. Funny that they choose
this day to block them
after 600 dollars.
I have asked Senator Whitmires office to look
into Kens calls to me..as
Potter Co. jail said they may be recorded.
I hope they were recorded..but then you know what happens to tapes that show
assualt..
they erase them and no
one does a DAMN thing and this continues..Van
Williansam has the record
where Kens PO. called swb on 22 changing the
dates his monitor was to be
removed..I would like to talk to some
investigators.."Ken told me things
to report in case he should turn up dead"
But I am sure that record will mysteriously
disappear .
The only reason Van Wlliamson
has this record is because I had it sent
to him. "He was doing nothing for Ken"
(name deleted)should be able to verify my feelings on this as
she spoke with Kens
attorney also. We are of the same impression.
.
Note> correction to prior posting 6.9 04: on a a
letter I wrote to
Senator Whitmire
I wrote that Kens atty was "Van Robertson". His
name is "Van
Williamson"..That was an "error".. but It was
after 4:am in the morning
and I was very upset when I learned of Kens
death...correction.. "MURDER"
..lets call it what is is..
I want blood samples drawn. I also do not want
his body creamated.
I want an investigation into Kens death..I feel
it was Foul Play and I
believe we have enough evidence to back up our
"Allegations"... which I
am sure they will be termed by the State . I
think we can prove it was ,as we have evidence
that Freddy Palacio Ken's
P.O.
changed the dates on order to disconnect monitor
at Kens old recidence
and hook up at new one. I have other evidence
also but I won't tell you
what it is,...the evidence I if it proves nothing
else it will prove
Freddy
Palcio placed those calls "AFTER" Ken was
arrested,,trying to cover up
what he did.if nothing else ..It proves him the
liar
that he is.

From: (name deleted)Subject: Re: Digest Number 882
This is to (name deleted) and all who are interested in helping Ken. I relayed the info you sent to Ken and he
wants to know what day the reporter is coming. Leslie Vance is states
attorney.
This is going to keep on until the news media gets involved or the
monitor is removed.
The BPP people are the ones who need intense monitoring..who is
monitoring them?
Speak to the news media and those in charge and ask for investigations.
Why is the state so vent on sending Ken back to prison ..a blind, a
disabled and crippled man who has come out into society making every
attempt to reform even earning regional state and national recognition
and awards for helping his fellow man and succeeding where others have
failed. Is it simply because the state parole system does not want this
man to succeed. Is it because he is a threat to the public or a threat
to the state?
Why is the state spending so much time, effort and money to send him
back to prison, when he has done absolutely nothing to deserve it.
They have continually used the this monitor to harass him. I guess that
they have no other recourse as he has not done anything wrong that they
can use against him in order to revoke him.
They arrested him just this last Sept for a battery failure in the
monitor, another arrest was for monitor malfunction on their side, now
after being given written permission to move and have his phone
transferred to his new address, he again is arrested this time for the
monitor being turned off at his former location and hooked up at the new
one. -

Well Frannie we are NOT in Texas and so he will have a walk in the park. Too bad the ankle bracelet doesn't come with a shock device.
What was he convicted of. I read four different sites he whines about a lot but isn't disclosing what he did. IF IF he molested a child do not tell me cause if he did I will have no sympathy.
-
Frannie Banannie
Sheila, he was convicted of aggravated kidnapping, but I don't know the details...and often in court, the defendant is "screwed over" terribly here in Texas, no matter what they did or didn't do....anyway he more than paid his "dues" and lifted himself above what he'd been before, making gigantic strides to better himself and enormous efforts to help others in the Texas prison system....and for his efforts, he was deliberately blinded, injured to the point of becoming a paraplegic, defenseless in effect....and then was murdered for his efforts.....stone cold murdered.
It's my understanding that there is going to be a Congressional investigation of the Texas Prison System this year....it's about time....there is blatant abuse and medical neglect of inmates, which blinds and cripples many every year....no one deserves this...incarceration and hard labor is enough.....and ppl whine about recidivism.
