Are we here because there exist a God and He has a plan, or does everything exist from an accident?
What was Gods plan when He created the Earth or was it all an accident ?

Yeah, earth was an "accident" that missed the bowl and fell on the floor while Jehover was pinching a loaf. You know... one of those little round "klingons" that you just can't seem to get rid of... you just have to shake and wiggle until it finally falls off.

This is an age old . One that humans constantly seek an answer to, because it gives validation and purpose to why we exist. If we believe that all this suddenly appeared by accident, then that gives probability that it could all disappear as suddenly as it came about.
First of all, there are many gods. There are even many gods mentioned in the biblical rendition of our history. Genesis gives little information about the beginnings of the planet Earth, except in a very brief first few sentences.
It is my opinion that the galaxies are part of the universe and are numberless. I also believe that there are varieties of life forms on other planets in these galaxies, and do not limit "life" to Earth only. Perhaps it is because "humankind" in our present form is all that we can relate to, and perhaps our form right now came about after several attempts to create life on this planet over eons of time. Genesis also gives clues to this by discussing at least two separate creations of man.
Perhaps there are other life forms that exist, but that we cannot even compare ourselves to them, because we exist so very differently. We cannot fathom such life because our minds are unable to comprehend. We have difficulty even understanding the spiritual realm of creation that is not physical.
Our limited view of the god Jehovah leaves many unanswered questions if we are to believe all that the JW's teach in regard to that god. I believe the creator(s) of the entire universe well know what they are doing and that nothing about creation is accidental. All life exists and is in the constant process of change--change of energy forms. It may appear to us that mistakes were made, but I don't view them as mistakes. Creation is an ongoing process, and an experimental one and why not? The creator(s) have control over everything and I have no worry that we came about by accident--our planet and our human existance.

My opinion is that it was niether a plan or a mistake. It was/is more like an exploration, like when we humans continuosly explore new science, columbus explored the western oceans, etc. In that light, we are continuing the explorations in almost everything we do: science, relationships, ideologies, skyscrapers, fiddling w dna, better cars, faster jets, smarter computers, on and on. You see, we are all doing the will of an evolving 'god'.

What if -- there is no creation at all? Not in the way that there is a creation separate and apart from it's Creator; and thus no such thing as a "mistake" either. What if all there IS, is the Infinity of Being? Consciousness expressing Itself as all things; infinitely, without exclusion? Then, objectivity would be seen as only an illusion. Because -- there is only That. I am That. You are That. Walls disappear. I love you as Myself -- because you are. What if?

The fact that we have to give life meaning is evidence that it has none. Or something like that... can't remember the quote exactly.

The purpose of life is what you make of it. Anyone having to ask what the purpose of life is, is wasting space.

An extremely hypothetical notion: Might the universe not have any "one" purpose or meaning so that there can be many?

Are we here because there exist a God and He has a plan, or does everything exist from an accident
I have noticed something I have never seen anyone else notice....
assume there is a god....who has always existed....
since that god never had a time when it did not exist, he never created himself and so had no control over his true nature, his desires which arise from that nature, his goals, dreams, intentions, etc. What came about was what had to come about and there is no such thing as freewill as there is no way that this god's will was ever in its control...and so had no ability to give any of us what never existed either.
as to an accident...if it has always been there was never a time that a judgement of accident vs plan would be meaningful.
perhaps cosmic joke is a better view :)
This still applies if you see reality as godless and just filled with energy.

Why do I picture JamesThomas making a living doing something cool like building canoes or being a river guide and eating shrooms?
