Wow, that's scary stuff. Reminds me of when me and my fiance were almost creamed by a drunk driver. It's weird how it takes time for the adrenalin to leave the body.
Thank god you & your husband are okay.

Ouch! OMG, that is incredible! I know that feeling after an accident when you're heart's in your throat... but to be so close to death and to live!
I am glad that you are alive.
Terry if you haven't gone to bed yet - have a soak in a hot shower or in the tub to ease the muscles. Tomorrow you will probably feel quite stiff and sore. Soak again to ease the muscles.
Have a good cry if you need it. Coming that close is extremely stressful on both the mind and the body. You might need to take the day off work and just allow your body to relax. Give each other a massage if that helps.
I know when you can see that accident coming your body braces itself. Even if you don't have the impact you expect the body still reacted - hence the stiffness the next day.
((((Terry and Marco)))) So glad you are both OK

OFC and hubby , glad u are still with us. It really is true, time and unseen circumstance befall us all.
I'm so glad to hear you are okay. A scary experience indeed...
I always thank the cosmos for those "reminders" of how precious life is and to live life to the full each day.
Be well.

((((Terry & Marco)))) - thank goodness you two are OK.
My brother, who drives for Mississauga Transit, saw more than his share of accidents, ditch dives, and slippery road conditions.
When I woke up yesterday afternoon, I remember seeing an almost complete white out condition here in Toronto's eastend. It didn't last long, but I can't imagine north of the city. I know that once you go beyond Steeles Avenue (Toronto's northern city limit), and perhaps north of highway 7, road conditions in winter are unbelievable, if not horrendous sometimes.
That snow that comes in from Lake Huron, can be, and has been known to cause some of the worst snow conditions in the region.
I'm SO GLAD you two are OK!!!
Whew, Rayzorblade breathes a huge sigh of relief.
Take care,
Hugs, Ray
OFC. Glad everyone is OK. That one will dwell on the mind for a while. Thankful everything is OK
CJ and I have been taking a different route to work in the mornings. It has been so cold here the past week, -30C plus wind chill. Even though the roads are bare, they are covered with a hoarfrost, that becomes black ice. Very unpredicatable, and very scary going down hills when there is a traffic light at the bottom.
