I posted a thread some 9 or 10 years ago about persecution. The congregation was talking about the pounding we'd get when we handed out the newest tract, that ripping the churches and the clergy.

I have often thought the lack of evangelical work in the islamic world is a real testament they dont even buy there own bullshit.
Try being a Christian in mosul iraq right now. Of course that will never make any awake cover.

Part of my "awakening" was doing research and seeing that this "persecution fantasy" or "persecution complex" was not unique to JWs, but part and parcel of any fundamentalist christian's worldview.

It's so hard to figure out what JW's think in 20 f$$king 17!!! How do they do it? Must be a safety net...don't think about being without it....scary.
But yea, who would have thought it would be the WT coverups and abuse issues that would bring their persecution. No governments "turning" on religion. And if you heard Trump today with 6 religious speakers, religion is alive and well...at least in Washington.
