Lol... only a cult can engender fear over something as good as “peace”. Perhaps you could tell your mom not to worry, humans have great capacity to kill and the world has many hot spots still.

Throughout humanity's history there have been civilizations that were once warring then agreed to a peaceful coexistence.
Perhaps a history lessen is due ?

Seriously though; one of my many little wake-up moments was realizing that loyal, rank-and-file JWs - for all intents and purposes - pretty much believed that.
