Too bad you have to have a window washer who at 40 lives with Mama, a lawnman who secretly downloads kiddie porn off his computer, and a retired grocery clerk who hasn't had sex with his wife in nine years holding court over honest hearted people trying to make a life under the J-dud oppression! And on a technicality no less! What love! What concern for the flock! And more importantly what training? Yes! What training do these near illiterate men actually have in such matters. They are told they have God's Holy Spirit (by a printing corporation) and so feel justified to cause people all kinds of needless suffering?

Why even go there? Why even put up with this stupidness? These men are NOTHING and what they have is NOTHING! Blow them off! Maverick...getting pissed now!

    Maverick makes good points.

In my divorce case, the leader of the committee questioned my wife's termination of the marriage
(I was the perp.) He thought the language she used wasn't specific enough, I knew it was and stood my ground (I wanted out). The GB and their Elders set themselves up as the 'Grand Determinators' of what is true, morally right and correct.

The correctness of the marriage between your two friends is between them and God. If they were convinced the woman was free to marry then they were right to pursue it and not wait on pre-approval from anyone.
