There will be promotional pictures taken, (no not those kind) and I will be seeing people I havent seen in about 4 months. I've put on about 10 pounds since the knee incident in November. I stocked up on my juices this afternoon. I am going to try juice, water, and soup.

Swimming would be very good exercise for burning calories and getting 'in shape'.
I read just recently that one can use up about 300/half hour at a slow crawl, and water
exercise would be very good for your knee. Look for a pool with steps, so you do not
stress the knee getting in and out. I am currently swimming for weight reduction,
along with diet, and to spare cartilage in the hip, trying to avoid hip replacement as
long as possible. It's working !!! No longer use the cain and no pain meds !!!

As was pointed out in the movie "Jerry McGuire" "Did you know the human head weighs eight pounds?"
Here it is...eat all three meals...but eat small, work out twice a day...do your cardio in the afternoon...sauna afterwards and replenish the water...don't snack before bed.

The quickest way to lose weight is to juice fast.....nothing but unsweetened fruit juices and water, coffee, tea, diet sodas....drink till you slosh when you move....stay close to the bathroom....lotsa energy, tho (full of B-vitamins)....and very quick weightloss guaranteed.

I worked with a woman that told me she had lost 155 lbs...she was just a little petite thing, so I was amazed.
I asked her how she did it.
Her reply?
"I got a divorce."
Seriously, though...you may find that by substituting water for all your beverages helps quite a bit. Flushes the toxins, and has no calories of course. I try to drink a lot of water, that way I don't feel guilty when I get a small chocolate shake at Whataburger.
(BY THE WAY: Whataburger is the real reason I moved to Texas!!!!)

I agree that a juice fast is a quick and healthy way to drop a few pounds very quickly but, I'd stay away from coffee. It triggers the release of a stress hormone (cortisol) which results in the body storing up fat. As for diet beverages.......Aspartame is a poison and has actually been known to trigger weight gain.
