But i'm always aware they could turn into someone else at any time and they always do.I feel love's wrapped up with trust, care, protectivness and the need to care for that person at the expense of your own needs.
Thats what I think about love too. But, the most important part of that would be trust. I think to love someone you have to be able to totally relax with them, and to do that you have to be comfortable that they are who they say they are and are not going to change on you. That comes from being hurt so bad, and it takes a lot to get out of that, I'm still like that now.

We had been married for 10 years..
Our son died that year... my father-in-law had just died and left a huge debt and all his creditors were calling us for money...We were disfellowshipped...I lost all my family to the borg...I lost all my friends from forever...my nerves collapsed..
and then one night.. I gazed into my husbands eyes sobbing like a little child and I said...
" Would you be my best friend, because I have no friends now.. they are all gone?"
He took my hands in his and pulled me close. He kissed my hands and looked gently in to my eyes and said... "I will always be your best friend, always"
and that was it.....I fell in love,... deeper than I had ever been in love all my life.
