    And where is the daughter in all this? Does she have enough of a spine to stand up for her rights or is she beaten down by the subjection stuff?

    The daughter sadly has learning difficulties and is before her years. That is another tragic element within this particular tale. As a minor update, I did get to speak to her today, but I think nothing will change at the moment and it needs time and patience
