no fear. Each day I strive to do the best job possible with the cards I'm dealt.

=In the end, we judge ourselves based on how we used our time and awareness this go round on the planet. I'm confident on how I'll rate.

    Not

    • And this is the judgment, that the light has come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.
    • two men will be in the field; one is taken and one is left.
    • For you yourselves know well that the day of the Lord will come like a thief in the night. (In the dark one does not know that a thief has been)
    • And just as it is appointed for men to die once, and after that comes judgment, so Christ, having been offered once to bear the sins of many, will appear a second time, not to deal with sin but to save those who are eagerly waiting for him.

"There is no greater evil than killing, yet we often unquestionably accept a god, a creator, that is a killer. Strange how we create our "Most High" in the image of the most low. This is insane, and it does not have to be this way. There is deeper wisdom, true and pure, that is not owned by religions." OMG I LOVE THAT QUOTE!!!!! I gotta write it down and say that to all the church goers I know :D:D THANK YOU for that :)

Welcome Panterafan. I guess it's nice you like what I said, but to be honest with you it doesn't amount to anything unless you really see it and feel it for yourself.....and if you do, you probably can find ways of expressing it better.

James The Bible reveals a killer God, Humanity gets information about God from the Bible.

What you say is true fnt. The problem is you are assuming the "God" portrayed in the Bible is our true Source. If you look close you see a photocopy of a ruthless human king or ruler....who is willing and eager to kill most of his own people to make a point. It doesn't get any uglier or worse than that, for someone to take advantage of their power in such a blatantly evil way. Take a walk in nature and listen to your heart instead of your mind. Do you sense that the True Source of this wondrous universe is the lowest of the low, as religion would like us to believe? Or rather infinitely more than our feeble little beliefs can encompass? You tell me.

Until now humanity dies and suffers as it waits for the God you seem to describe.

We "wait" because we believe in the god the Bible "describes", who is just another entity, another thing, moving about through time and space, and thus restricted in some way by time and space. When we believe our Source is just another part of the universe far away...we wait....and wait....and wait. This is the price we pay for reducing God to just another object. This entire scenario happens in our mind.

What other source of wisdom are you suggesting.

When we step out of the mind and all of it's beliefs, concepts, judgments, interpretations and ideas of what truth is, we are left with what? We are left with the vibrant presence of this moment; which encompasses a plethora of sensations and -- a pure and pristine consciousness which is embraces it all. Strange as it may seem, there is only one, did I say "one", I meant ONE single unquestionable Truth at hand; and that is -- there is conscious awareness. To argue against it is to prove it's actuality. So, if what we are looking for, if what we are seeking is TRUTH -- where do we look? What true and actual source of such wisdom do we have at hand? We give great value and prestige to the intellectual mind, yet the entire universe came about (including the bodies we call our own) without the help of our great intelligence. Perhaps there is intelligence within the vast pool of consciousness which reads these words even now. Wisdom waiting, that we have not been aware of before because we were looking elsewhere. This moment of conscious being is the most intimate of intimate within you right now. Why not look there? If there really is a God, wouldn't it seem right that It was that loving and that close? j
