Minimus, look at it again, the great crowd are still "second class christians". As they are no longer counted as the "domestics". They've been demoted, at one time they were counted as being of the "domestics".

I've never known those with the earthly hope to be the domestic--per the WBTS.
I wonder if Blondie is on vacation yet... she mentioned something about it recently.
I'm looking forward to her input here.

RE: Domestics...
Last I knew, the "domestics" were considered by the WTBTS to be the individual members of the "remnant" of the annointed....
Like Min, I never heard of this applying to the GC....

EVERYTHING the Watchtower does is calculated to cover a period of time. Realistically, that "bride class" of 1919 is dead. So they have to pass the mantle---sooner or later.
my mistake, the "other sheep" are not or never were of the domestics. But their still "second class christians"

RR------Do you think the Society is introducing something different here?
Virgins
There were some people without works (children) who became happy at hearing about Jesus. Also there were others (virgins also) that weren't simply happy when listening about God, and proceeded to try and purchase their happiness before being ready to meet the Lord - however the same were preoccupied and determined elsewhere when simple things in life arose - the first were glad, but the second felt a failing, albeit unnecessarily - then they could not see anyway out of their predicament.
Talents
Some people use the life they have been given, engaging as they are able in their life of "comes what may" - yet others can be untrusting, seeking to obey certain rules for righteousness, to secure (earn) a certain safety - hiding their love / care / vibrancy 'under a Rock'.
All Christians perhaps ?
Pretty much all peoples.
virgin oil = ky jelly??
More WT. quotes from the article-----"Hence, the expression "faithful and discreet slave" refers to all members of that anointed spiritual nation as a group on earth at any particular time fromm 33 C.E. until now, just as every Israelite living at any time from 1513 B.C.E. until Pentecost 33C.E. was part of the pre-Christian servant class."........What they're saying is just as the nation of Israel was God's "servant", so too would be "anointed" ones.......... I don't recall seeing in print the expression, "the pre-Christian servant class"......These 2 articles point to the "faithfulness" of the anointed in their preaching. They were not being considered special by the Master because of the TRUTHFULNESS of what they preached or the ACCURACY of their message. The article totally ignores the substance of what these faithful, discreet persons were dispensing. The mere fact that they did some preaching, albeit, mostly in an incorrect old light message, won them an appointment over his belongings!
