I also have the pleasure of admitting that through my maternal grandmother we are related to the royal family in England/Scotland as we were decended from children of affairs with the royal family.

    Me too!!

I've posted this many times, but here goes again...............my mother is a distant cousin of Princess Diana's maternal grandmother. (you find out so many cool things doing genealogy research)

Frank Gifford is a cousin of mine, but we've never met.

My great-grandfather played for Crewe Alexandra.

I once went out for a curry with Mike & Bernie Winters.

Dellboy came into my pub once and we said hello to each other.

I became a good friend of Jon Isherwood when I left the dubs. He recorded a few tracks, the most famous of which was "The Cucumber song", you can hear it here: http://www.jon-isherwood.com/

    Englishman.

I was on the Rolf Harris Show aged 9.

Mulan, wasn't Diana's maternal grandmother that right old bitch that colluded with the Queen Mother in arranging Diana's marriage to Charles?! We can't choose our relatives!

Angelo Moore of Fishbone used to come to our apartment for the Book Study, and I have been to his mother's home, where I also got to talk to him a few times when he was a young teen. He was a pleasant person with an easy smile.

I'm sure he was torn between his strict JW mother, who's also a very nice person, and his non-JW father, who was in the music industry and apparently always encouraged Angelo to pursue a music career. He chose music of a sort. Just kidding Angelo! A co-worker lent me one of your early "Angry" videos.

Hi Angelo! Saw you on TV recently when the Rescue Team were out looking for you and your little 'un! You handled that very well IMO.

Justin Guarini (came in second on American Idol 1) lives 5 minutes from my office, near Doylestown, PA. My brother-in-law owns a mattress store and both Justin and his brother bought mattresses from him.

The singer, Pink, also is from that area.

I think you are right. I was mistaken about the link to Mom. It's her maternal grandfather who is the cousin.

I don't have any, so I'll swipe my husbands claims.

He modeled for the 1986 Ford F250 brochure. It's the brochure that people can pick up at the dealerships when they are interested in a certain automobile. One day, while shopping at a mall about 50 miles away, we were taking by suprise to see him on a huge Ford display right as we entered the main entrance.

No, my spouse was not a professional model. He raced dirtbikes professionally and the local modeling agency needed someone with bike skills and access to lots of motorcycles. A local bike dealer referred the agency to my husband. I have to say this, it was FANTASTIC money, $150.00 an hour and he worked most of the day. Unfortunately, not a big demand for my spouse's "speciality" .

    And

Hubby's Dad was a stockbroker and he had the singer Eddie Money over to dinner to try and get him as a client. My husband, a teenager at the time (the 70's), could invite one friend have dinner with them. Hubby reported that he was a regular guy and thanked my husband for not inviting every kid he knows to meet him that evening.

I appeared on a TV program called "Losing it" about those who had lost their faith whether Christian, Muslim, Jewish, etc.

The main focus of the progran was a JW woman, her mother and her friend. Who becaus eof their experience at the hands of the WT had all left. Also they had lost complete faith in God.

I was there because I had left but still had faith in God.
