PB, I mean sKally,,,,,,,,,lol,,,,,,,oh my gosh, it is amazing , the journey of leaving the JW's. I am glad to hear about Little D,,,,,she is a sweet soul.
I remember Judge Judy.....omg,,,,,,,,,,,LMAO!!!!!!!!! See made me sick, as a JW.......talk about wacko.
I remember taking alot of heat talking to the disfellowshipped ones,,,,,like you and Little D. If someone didnt say they were d/f , people would talk to them. But ones like you and little D that stood up for what they knew about were to be shunned as the Anti-Christ. I remember still talking to you anyway,,,,,and yeah arguing too. But I always saw a side of you, that had been thru alot and had pain issues, even then I could understand that. So many of the JW's at about.com , didnt care what you went thru, or the pain anyone felt, you are d/f you deserve to die, was their mentality.
Do you remember Judge Judy,,,,,,,hehe, at the name..........said your daughter was gonna die at Armeggedon? She made me so mad, even as a JW, I never felt it was my place to go around Judging if someone was going to make it in the end...........and this "sister" Judy,,,,,,,had the most rude , crude way of falt out judging your very young little girl. She and I were never on the same page after she did that.
In my mind even then,,,,,,, I just didnt believe that all were gonna die in Armeggedon,,,,,,,surely Jehovah was going to save the children, the innocent, the sick, the good, etc.
It is funny how this thread has come full circle to me.....When I was talking to that lady at the grocery store, as an "apostate" d/a exjw,,,,,,,,,it was the same subject that I felt so strongly about as a devout JW elder wife, aux, pioneer,,,,,,,,,the judging of people , giving them a death sentence. I still feel the same about that as I did then,,,,,,,,,now I can stand up and say for sure what I feel to be true without having to watch my words , so the other publishers wouldnt say I was being " too soft hearted" lol.
My son is having a blast in high school, he is into football, all district defensive back, all district academic football, being trained by a NFL draftee in weight lifting at the school, honor roll , beta club, class president, I could go on , but you probably have heard me bragging on him already.
Next time you run into some of the old jw chatroom Jdubs,,,,,,,,,tell them all about me ,,,,,,,spread the word,,,,,,,,keep planting those seeds PB. They may take a little while to take root, but the branches of the tree that was a little seed, is in my mind like my children, my grandchildren and so on. These are all the lives that now have a chance at happiness and freedom. The Jdubs can't have that little parable to themselves anymore...........hehe.
Thanks for putting up with me PB,,,,,,,,I really did always enjoy our private conversations, and you were the first one to tell me about the Dateline show.
Just keep stirring those dubs up , I am sure deep down inside of many of them are doubts , conscience that will not leave them alone. It is only a matter of time before the WT loses even more die hard JW's.
