Andi,,,,my feet , hurt today.......lol, even my toenails hurt. I had on pointed tip cowboy boots, I wasnt prepared to be walking that much ya know.

I told her I would probably help out again tonite and I will where my soft sole , what I call Frankenstein boots, give me a little height but are very good on my feet. Kind of look like black biker boots....lol.

I am sure if Joannadandy reads this she will ask if I am wearing my stripper whore boots!!!!!!!! OH no !!! Those are killers,,,,, I twisted my ankle in those things!!!!!!!

Valis and Slippy, dont ya know , I can handle ya both at the same time?????????? That is what barmaids do ya know? And no ,,,,,,,,,,I didnt mean that the way it sounds!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! *twack* I was going to erase it and put it another way,,,,,but I think it is kind of funny how I always say things like that.

I am glad you had fun!

I waited tables all the way through college and LOVED it--hectic and stressful but perfectly suited for my 'keep all the balls in the air' personality. And there's a lot of money it in if your service is as good as the food you're serving. I made more money the last year I waited tables than I did the first few years of in my post-graduate career.

Sounds like you're a natural! Good waiters are born, not made. You're obviously a people person. It's great money and a fun job - too bad it's so-o-o-o hard on the feet and knees or I'd go back to it.

Take care of your tootsies and enjoy.

I will for sure wear better boots tonite.

And for your infor Mr. WT,,,,,,,,I am an indepenant contractor,,,,,,,,ummmm so to speak. You are not getting any of my money,,,,,,,,your children already have their little hands out , a dollar here a dollar there. ( our youngest is addicted to the chocolate candy bars the school is selling), so I will be broke any way you look at it.

Seriously I want to go to nursing school because I really do like to do for other people , I like to talk, I like to listen, but it may be end of this year or first of next year before the next class starts. I will see where I am in life and go for that dream when the time is right. So being a waitress/bartender did give me that adrenline rush I love,,,,,,,,, the fast paced kind of thing, where you have to do five things at once....lol.

But for now, I am enjoying getting to know the people in my little home town whose faces I know , but personally didnt know anything about as a JW. It is a nice feeling to feel like you are part of the town , instead of just someone who lives there waiting for the world and your neighbors to all die in Armeggedon.........

I have been bartending for about a year now at a swanky resort on the central coast in California.I can't believe I make so much money just hanging out and having fun.I make anywhere from $100.00 to $350.00 dollars a night(thats week days...I have my weekends off).I always have cash in my pocket and more friends than I have ever had in my whole life.If you have a great sense of humor and are very friendly you will do great( I make it a point to remember names and what they drink, really impresses them)

Watch out for the married men...they are the worse. Once they get way from the wife and kids they want to let loose and "party" I can't even begin to count how many times I have heard...I'm in room 162,stop by when you get off work.( something about that room number...lol)
