this is why it's a bad idea to have the government pay for things. Whoever pays the bills makes the rules (except for tax payers of course).

The Bush administration has decided that people with bad hearing have bad judgment, too, and need special guidance from the federal government.
Ummm.. this isn't Bush's department. Him nor his cabinet even touches anything involving the education dept.

Which is why I was shocked and somewhat annoyed too when I found out the federal government is paying to CC TV and movies.

It sucks, but I don't think the entertainment has the financial impetus to CC TV shows. Just not enough deaf people to put money in their pockets. Sad but true IMO.
