La Toya was fabulous--My husband kept saying 'Damn!' out loud while she was singing--finally someone worthy of the competition.
And what was the deal with their reaction to the Leah and her 1988 curly hair, poor tone, and lack of control? We actually turned the channel for 30 seconds of her performance because we couldn't stand listening to her--and they were raving about her and her performance? Are they deaf?
I thought most of them were really good. I like LaToyal very much and the girl who sang just before here, who is from here (Seattle).
I also thought the girl with pink hair was a very powerful singer.
I predict the Seattle girl and LaToya win tonight.

I'm torn about her--I like her voice, but it'd be nice to see if she can sing a song that wasn't originally sung by Celine Dion. I'm all for emulating your idols, but you can't do it forever...

i really liked the girl with the pink hair. hey at least she did not do Whitney Houston like half the other female singers were doing. Also the last , AA woman was great, really the best.The big guy stunk, he coud not even carry a tune and i hated his song .I thought the little smart arse redhead with the rock and roll parents was a brat and just for that i hope they don't pick her. I felt so sorry for the first girl, Simon called her cheap, and she really wasn't that bad, probably not star quality, but not cheap. It hurt her , i could see it. She was humilated, and so were her parents.The one other guy, he was not so bad, but as simon said, he didn't project star quality, but hey, what if Simon had seen janis joplin, what on earth would he have said about her.
I loved Latoya's performance. She has a beautiful voice and and she knows how to use it. I thought her rendition of "All by Myself" was beautiful.
The rest were descent.
It really doesn't matter to me who gets through to the next round as long as Latoya gets through as well.
