Kennesson,,,,,,,,I literally have tears in my eyes and pain in my heart. I feel like there is a lump the size of Texas in my throat , after reading that.

I am so sickened,,,,,,,,This elder started molesting infants , and the children were so young,,,,,,,,,what a sick bastard !!!!!!!!!!

You know all child molestation , abuse of any kind is wrong,,,,,,,,but it really makes you wonder what makes a person, do that to a baby??? I am just out of words.

I just read this out loud to my husband and I am totally fuming!!!!!!!!! I was crying, now I want to bring the WT down to it's knees!!!!!!!!!!

I am so sickened by the way the WT brings in their fancy lawyers,,,,,,,,they are denying this "thing" who was once a MServant, saying he didnt hold position in the congregation.

According to the Sonoma County lawsuit, Glew became a "ministerial servant" in the Jehovah's Witnesses in the late 1970s. He counseled church members and supervised the care of Jehovah's Witnesses children while their parents did "field service," including door-to-door proselytizing
Based on our preliminary investigation, Donald L. Glew has never served in any position of responsibility with any congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses and he has not been one of Jehovah's Witnesses since 1989," said Philip Brumley, general counsel for the Watchtower Bible and Tract Society of New York, the Jehovah's Witnesses parent organization.
But Jehovah's Witnesses officials deny reports of widespread abuse, saying the incidents are isolated and mostly involved church members who weren't in positions of authority.

What liars they are...............most "brothers" even if they are not YET a MS, or ELDER, do have position in the congregations. Mainly because , the "brothers" are pushed and pushed to do more until they are a MServant. If you are not a MS , then they call you spiritually weak.

I know many MS who have been used to almost the same extent as Elders , thereby giving them great authority.

The congregation ,,,,,,,especially the women and children, are taught to respect those taking the lead, and knowing your place in the "head of the woman is man, the head of the man ,is Christ, etc. " code of conduct.

So the Society of Liars , men who cover over dog poop, thinking it might make it smell better , are now saying this man , was not anything to them. Are they so arrogant as to believe that people in the real world are really going to care that this man a publisher, a MS, or an Elder???

"While our hearts go out to the plaintiff for any suffering she has endured, we are confident that neither Watchtower nor any of the local congregation elders are responsible for what the plaintiff alleges Donald L. Glew did," Brumley said

In their pitifull , lame ass apology to the girl all of a few words you can tell it is just words.,,,,,,,,,,OH they have so many more words to wipe their filthy hands of the whole thing, denying the WT of any wrong doing..........so typical, just makes me sick.

I guess you can see that I quickly got over my loss for words , huh?

(((Dede))) I just love you for your many words of indignation! What a heart of gold you have!

    Kenneson --

Thanks for posting this. The Watchtower doesn't seem to understand that these cases are NOT just going to go away.

This story pisses me off too. At least this sick perv got 14 years jail time (and hopefully gets gang raped in prison).

I feel sorry for all of the victims. The WT lawyers are calling them liars and they have to relive the horrible events all over again in court.

we are confident that neither Watchtower nor any of the local congregation elders are responsible for what the plaintiff alleges Donald L. Glew did," Brumley said

Just another of their red herring, straw man arguments. No, of course they did'nt force this monster to do what he did. But by not reporting it, they perpetuated it and allowed it to happen. Over and over. Their might only be one victim instead of several, if they had reported this when it first happened. This is their usual argument, and it holds no weight, as it is not relevant to the allegations.

    Avi,

I wonder if this is why the 16 year old is the lead plaintiff on the case. If the elders/WT had taken action when the 25 year old reported abuse, would the 16 year old girl have undergone any abuse at all? THIS is the evil of the WT Society and its stupid "reasoning." THIS seems to be what they don't get. They cannot really be sorry if they keep allowing the environment in the congregation in which the same types of situations will continue to occur.
