That's got to be some sort of parody religion, like Church of the Subgenius. Then again, there are Subgenious members who are starting to actually take the old joke a little too seriously.

Answering a previous post about when Michael left the witnesses, it was just as his Bad album came out, I believe in 1987. He publicly da'd himself.
I remember many witnesses talking to each other about it shows when you leave Jehovah, you don't sell as many records.
Never mind that when a super album like Thriller comes out, no artist ever beats it. And, when you look at statistics and compare it to others, Bad did quite well.
The problem with Michael's popularity has nothing to do with being a witness, it is his obvious mental disorders.
