Way to go, Shelia!!

Trying to the harm to two persons that you do not know for having biblical literature on their own desk is NOT cool.
Neither is intimidating and frightening people by waving this crap in their face, sword. As usual, dubs want it both ways: claiming to boldly witness and disdain fear of man, they are first to squeal when people fight back against this kind of aggressive behavior. The poster who dropped a dime on them for what may be a violation of company policy is to be commended for insisting that HER rights and freedom from harm be protected. You probably didn't think of it from that angle.
And TrollofJah returns, with her usual incisive commentary! How the hell did she try to harm anyone? She just complained that they were prosylitizing at work. If their boss decides to take action, that's the boss' decision. They should work at work and not slack off with incidental witnessing.
Good Stuff Sheila..........
Standing your ground really does feel great.
sincerely
Special K
good for you, Sheila
feels great, eh?
Willylomens point is well taken; they are so eager to proclaim their religious "freedoms" ( thanks to a democratic secular government whcih tolerates all erratic religious groups) but they have no respect for your personal freedoms.

As I am typing it has been about thirty minutes since willyloman posted the above and swordofJah has not responded. Doesn't surprise me.
Before I retired this would have been a firing offense at my place of employment. The last thing management needed was a religious war on their property. Bug
If they shouldn't display the material their company deems "inappropriate" it's not your fault if they have some trouble because of your complaint. You didn't try to harm them; they didn't need to shove it in people's faces. I work in a place where there's religious stuff in people's offices and it doesn't have to be the Watchtower to be viewed as unprofessional - and disgusting if the person isn't living up to the image he is trying to portray.

I work in a learning institution and I sometimes see WT religious garbage all over the place on campus. When I do, I usually pick it up, show it to the responsible administrator in the area who promptly tell me to throw it away. You usually have to get permission to display any printed material on campus, yet, JWs routinely flout the rules leaving their garbage all over the place.

If you spot them coming from their car you can go and place school literature all over thier car while they are in putting their garbage on the campus.

This person did not a have Watchtower amongst papers on her desk, that could be barley glimpsed this person had a DESK full of literature, this made me uncomfortable, very uncomfortable. Someone that willing to violate company policy is just as willing to violate it when it comes to me. As usual Sword you expect all the rights and respect but do not feel it is a two way street.
