Oh I almost forgot,, we are also invited to an ADULT COASTING PARTY on Saturday night. Alcohol and coasting...lot of fun. 25 foot crazy carpet....zoom zoom zoom!

Ok, now I just have to know what this is all about...do tell!

We've got normal family stuff this weekend--soccer game, music lessons, dinner with my side of the family and a lot of house cleaning. We're going to visit my husband's family next weekend and even a 4 day trip requires a lot of advanced planning with two kids, a husband and a dog.

Plans for the weekend??

I have a date this evening. WOOHOO!! I don't know what we're doing but he mentioned that our 1 year anniversary was Tuesday so I think it might be something fun. All he said was "I'm picking you up at 7. Wear something casual." I don't care where we go or what we do...the mere fact that he remembered/thought of it/took action on it without any influence from me just makes me giddy.

Who knew such things were possibile?

Saturday, my boss's band has a gig at Club DaDa. COMF's new band is playing both Friday and Saturday. So there's lots of live music around.

Sunday? Don't know yet.

Adult coasting party...is when only adults are invited. No kids. Starts 8:30 Saturday night. Bring your own alcohol and share and mix. Bring food and munchies.

You coast for awhile..... no no..

first you drink for awhile

then you all go out and coast on the big hill.

Our host acquired a 25 foot industrial type crazy carpet type coaster. Much like the ones the kids use here except it's stronger and 25-30 feet long. Seats 11-15 although as you start down the hill everyone is propelled forward into each other. About half way through the night a big bonfire is built up on top of the hill and the alcohol is moved up there. Snow keeps all the booze cold and none of it freezes.

this year we have decided to put a table outside like an outside bar..how quaint.

Lots of camcording and digital pictures and then we send them all around to each other through e-mail.

and that is how it goes.

I will be taking my older daughter to her dance class; my son to his Tae kwon Do; I believe there is a birthday party that my little 4 year old has to attend; friday nites I have fencing.

My wife and I meeting with our accountant for taxes; taking my elderly Mom to the cemetary to visit with Dad; and maybe if I have time, my wife and I will squeeze some time to have dinner together ( you know, like a date---maybe if I get her drunk I will get "luckyh") HAH!

Just another weekend Sas, kind of boring.....but there is something to be said for the security of a routine.

This is my 23 hour day. I got up at 6:30 this morning, and I probably won't be heading to bed until 5:30 tomorrow morning. After work, I gotta go to work. I'll be able to quit my second job soon though :)

Saturday, I'm hoping to head to a karaoke bar and do some singing!!!

Sunday, maybe some housework, blob, or work on wedding stuff.
