Motorola 120E. It seems to be a pretty solid little phone so far, I've had it about 3 months. I hope it lasts at least a couple of years. The voice dial feature is pretty cool.
My service provider is Verizon. I wish I had known about T-Mobile, I would have saved myself bunches of money.

The string you are using is too small gauge that is why can do only 6ft.
I have done not 6 but 60ft, that was when i was a kid.
Also dont use beer cans, they don't have good acoustic (sp?)
How do you ring the other party? I have a patented ringing design for a 'can' phone kit, distributors wanted.

audiovox-has voice activation as well.Its a work phone but permitted to use for everything else as well. I used to be against even more intrusion into daily life, but with voicemail, call display etc, its a great tool for the most part.
Nokia of some kind...nothing fancy but it gets the job done....T-Moble service, affordable and reliable to date
Geez Bisous Nextel???? They soooo SUCK! lol I used them for several years at the different places I worked...the radio feature is great but their service and connections are horrible!!! What are you thinking girl????

I have to admit though they have a good thing going with the radio feature. That is the ONLY thing that has kept me from pulling company accounts from them! It can be a money saver...
