Yesterday I upgraded my cell from an old trusty Kyocera to a Verizon Motorola T730. I am really annoyed by this phone....when you turn it on, you have to suffer through a Verizon ad, the backlight works only for a max of 20 seconds and the screen is so dark you need the backlight anyway, and then my personalized banner only appears after a minute of idle time, and touching any button replaces my banner with "Verizon" and it doesn't reappear until a minute passes -- long after the backlight has faded so it's essentially useless. So I'm less than pleased so far with this new phone.
Simon that phone looks awesome!
Mine has internet available and when I first got it I had internet service but it was so complicated to use and I could never access my hotmail account I think I needed it to be configured and anyway got discouraged so I quit the internet service.
Is that model more user friendly? I would like to update my phone and have all the bells and whistles if they were user friendly.

one crapy Nokia provided by AT&T. Hoping to hop to nextel, but don't know what type of hardware they use...

Trium. Cheapest one in the shop - 50 quid at the time. Has been superb, though I'm still not sure how to send text messages.

Siemens SL56 - tiny little thing
Mitsubishi Trium T300......It's old and ugly, but built well (from what I can find online I don't think it is sold in US anymore). It is a couple of years old now. I use Suncom/AT&T. Have traveled in USA with it and always have service. I still use TDMA.
Alot of US companies built thier networks on TDMA and are now switching to GSM. If you are with one of these compainies you will get better coverage with TDMA but you don't get all the bells and whistles you have on GSM networks.

Nokia 3390.
Verizon sucks BIG time....I dumped them and their crappy little Nokia and got Cingular with a Nokia 5310i and internet access. :)
