  Of course, you won't find any direct statements like "Armageddon will definitely come by 1975", but anyone with half a brain can see that that's exactly what the Watchtower Society wanted readers of its publications to conclude. I know what those bozos said, since I was in my late teens -- an extremely important time for anyone -- at the time and I heard it all. They generated a great deal of enthusiasm for the date by instructing the JW community not to "study" with people for more than six months, since if the person hadn't become a JW by then, they weren't showing enough appreciation and "we have better things to do with our time since the end is so close."

  It's beyond irritating that the Watchtower today denies all responsibility for the dashed hopes of millions. Nothing but a bunch of liars.

  kls, as Elsewhere said you can go to a local Kingdome Hall's library and look it up. Or you can have your husband get one of those Watchtower Library CD Rom. But my guess is that KH's library will be the best bet since there might be the original print out. The CD Rom version is edited.
