To earn that Title sweet flower You must have experience....Like 76 years of goofing up!! not believing , messing up others lives, etc( of course treshappy will say & snoring)But now I am Old & have found out I am not able to tell folks what is right & wrong I KNOW FOR ME!!!because I have been there done that!!!! But when After losing my kids,hubby, faith in a organization -I threw up my hands & said "IF YOUR THERE COME & TAKE OVER!!!!! HE did- Since Oct 20 1989.. I have found peace! I know what ever happens -its HIS problem. He must handle it using this Cracked Pot!!( broken vessel) So far so good .I am so blessed I am amazed that I took so long to do something SO simple ... I love you sweet flower weather you think I am nuts or not.... ((((HUG))))

Every problem I have ever seen -- in reference to God -- is motivated by the same mistaken reasoning. We believe there is a god, out there, separate from us, that somehow needs appeasing. Our true Source is not so tiny as to be away, or need anything. So, why feel guilty? Step back and clearly see the turmoil created by the mind and all it's beliefs about God. Notice the emotions, often painful, which kick in from these mind generated stories. When there are no thoughts about God, when there are no remembrances of religious dogma, when there are no thoughts about anything, and you are just petting the cat, or washing a dish, or walking a trail, or listening to bird song, or feeling the warm sun or breeze on your cheek, or silently looking into the eyes of a friend.....what is there then? Life! Pure and simple Life! And all is well and beautiful. The silent and pristine consciousness which embraces all this....what is that? Life! Pure and simple Life! Only in our minds is there a place where our beloved Source ends or begins. It is existence/Life Itself. Be still, and know...

I am in 100% agreement with mouthy about guilt being destructive. Whatever path you are on, guilt will stand in your way.

I tried praying but I got a busy signal, and then when I did get through I had a conversation with God about Salvation and interior decorating?

Mouthy, I'd like to echo your words, but I just can't.

And if there is a god that wants me to talk to him, then I hope that he knows me well enough to understand me without a word.

I can understand my loved ones without them speaking a word.

And if there is a loving creator out there, then he should be just like me in that understanding since i am created in his image.

And for that, I feel NO GUILT!

luv you too and I DO NOT think your nuts. I am more happy for you than you know that you are happy and at peace. Thats what its all about. When you read my posts exposing what I feel are major flaws in Christianity they are not mean for you or anyone else who feels comfort in their beliefs. They are meant for people who are being hurt by the mental and emotional pain that is inflicted by their belief in Christianity and God and who need to be free from that pain. Its meant for those who are still tormented by the things they have always been taught (such as this guilt from not praying). I agree with you we cant tell anyone that something is right or wrong for them all we can do is try to help them find what is right for them. If someone feels being a JW is the only way they can be happy then that is fine, if they want to be Baptists or just Christian that is fine too if it brings them a sense of peace. For some of us it takes something more. When I threw my hands up and said 'if you are there, i'm all yours' nothing happened. My peace of mind came from....other realizations. I know that you think I'm too young to know anything ;) but I too lost my family and friends (pretty much all of em!) after over 25 years in a cult, ya gotta give me a little credit for that!

Personally I think prayer is a form of self healing. Thinking that we're gonna be all right since we communed with our imagined god, we go about our business thinking we're in His protection. Although I believe in an inteligent greative force, I've long since abandoned the idea that I can summon Him/Her up at my whim to solve the problems I've caused myself. It's a "do-it-yourself-kit" folks. His intervention is not as literal and personal as thought. Jesus probably wasn't lieing, just speaking in perverbial terms.

I am just giving MY experience - When I said you cant be Mouthy 2 is because I have done MORE Talking than you in MY life time- I understand why you cant believe in God Just as I do all you others on the JWD line that dont believe..... I am not judging you all believe me. I read where scriptures tell the "teachers of lies" ( my words) they travel over land & sea to make one convert then make them twice as bad as they were before.... Not meaning your "BAD" just that you have given up on a GOD.... But as I said if you not feeling Guilty your free >Right????I was talking to those who said they feel guilty- I cant stop believing in a Creator ( even to be liked) Because I see HIS works...
