Where is Evolution Headed???

PS,
Belief in God and/or creation is just another belief without adequate proof, too.
True. One must make a conscious choice what they will believe, based upon the information they have reasoned on, or not.L_T, you post threads about the bible which you specifically ask non-beleivers to avoid... and to the best of my knowledge, they have. Why are you going onto threads created for discussing evolution purposely looking to simply argue against evolution? Quite honestly, isn't that a double standard?
I only made one such post so far. There was no such request in the anchor post here. Therefore, I am simply stating one reason (there are many others) why I believe Evolution is being taught. Where is it headed? It's being barraged both by scientists (big bang theory wrong, most recently) and others. This is a discussion forum, if you don't want to hear from informed people who disagree with you, why post? Sounds like mental masturbation to me, lol. Love_Truth- Has very good reading comprehension- no request was made for me to not participate in this thread. PS- Do you also post under "frankiespeakin"? 'Cuz if my posts were a problem, I figger he'd be the one accostin' me!!! -

I think you underestimate how many might be annoyed by your communication style.

The reason Evolution theory was, and is, taught as virtual fact is this-
Loves_Truth, the scientific community understands biological evolution to be a natural process. Evolution has been proved true since the creation of new species of plants and animals has already been demonstrated.
As far as where evolution might be going? I think it will take a different route than it has. Humanity is starting to reach the point of controlling evolutionary processes. We will shape our own destiny, rather than leave it up to natural forces.
But biology has severe limitations. Ultimately, the next evolution-revolution might be led a technological species. As sci-fi as it sounds, humanity may even replace flesh with machine. It's been happening slowly for centuries from wooden legs to occular microchip implants.
Perhaps in the far distant future I could imagine lifeforms that exist as energy, quasi-spiritual beings still tied to the laws of the universe but not to material form.
Or then again, may I need to lay off the beer ...

What theory do you hold to? There are sooo many. It is funny how one "fact" today, is another new fact tomorrow....good luck!

LucidSky,
Evolution has been proved true since the creation of new species of plants and animals has already been demonstrated.
LMAO! When did that happen? Never has the evolution of a new species of plant or animal "already been demonstrated". What hogwash!!!
Are you thinking of hybridization or adaptation perhaps? Nope, no new species.
Or then again, may I need to lay off the beer ...
T'would seem so to the casual observer.....
Love_Truth- knows the difference between demonstrable facts and unsubstantiated conclusions.

So, as far as the topic of the thread - where is evolution going? (ahem).
There are three schools of thought:
1) Doesn't believe in evolution at all (there, I put y'all first).
2) Believes in evolution as a blind, deterministic outcome of physical forces - the "pool-ball" theory.
3) Believes in evolution as a demonstrated outcome of universal "spiritual" forces toward continued growth and progress in the biological realm - the "woo-woo' theory.
(Knows an unsubstantiated conclusion? He worships an unsubstatiated conclusion!) Are you less self-righteous than when you were a JW?

the "woo-woo' theory.
Does that make those who lean toward this theory woowooists?

I must be a pool-ballist woowooist!

PS,
I'd say you categorized the three views quite well.
My comment about an unsubstantiated conclusion was directed at LucidSky's statement that the evolution of "new species" has been demonstrated. Not so. Perhaps he meant something else, but that is not what he stated.
He worships an unsubstatiated conclusion! No, actually quite substantiated. Like all conclusions that can not be empirically proven, belief in God, god(s), or an atheist view takes faith in something. Are you less self-righteous than when you were a JW? Now that's just bait, plain and simple. Ask yourself the same question, or this one: Do you beat your children less than when you were a JW? And you complain about my "communication style"? LMAO@Phantom Stranger The Hypocrite!! Love_Truth- here to discuss, not get my shorts in a wad (and I don't). PS- Hypersensitivity sucks!!!!
