Yes, I "walked on the wild side" as an older teen. I know I wasn't the only one either but like cyberguy was discreet about it.
As a JW, did you ever date someone who was not?

Yup, I did it.
I never felt bad that I did it, but I was very nervous that JW’s would spot me on a dinner-date or something;
I was always worried about this as well, especially because I was under 20 years old (the JW age to date according to YY). I also dated a girl who was just studying, but that turned into a real mess when she came to my house to see me. My mother answered and asked her 20 questions. "What congregation are you from? Who do you study with? What business do you have with my son?". My mother then initiated a full investigation on this girl. It was quite embarassing.

Yep. I did. I almost never dated JWs: no fun. Was never worried about being found out; I knew you couldn't get DF 'cos of that.

When I first started drifting away (it took me years!), I very briefly dated a guy who turned out to be very creepy; he sort of confirmed everything I'd been told about awful worldly people. Then I found a really nice guy, very friendly. Too friendly, as it turned out, as he was a professional stripper and used this to justify his general sluttiness.
Then I met someone wonderful. He is the first one I've been comfortable introducing to witness friends, and we've been together for a few years now.

I dated both "worldly" and JW girls. The worldly girls were more fun, but I always expected that when I did get married, I'd find a JW girl. I tried too, but I'm glad none of those relationships ever worked out and I'm now happily married to a "worldly" girl.
Around JW girls (in fact, around most JWs), I was always nervous. Everyone else seemed so much more dedicated to the religion than I was. I was always afraid I wasn't acting spiritual enough and was afraid to be myself.

Over a period of several years, I dated non-JWs (still do, now that I think of it), and was observed by various congregation members on several occassions, at theatres, restaurants, and other places. Even then, I had a different worldview, and I just didn't find the JWs to be so interesting or entertaining on dates, so would not go out with them. Probably as a result of my dating becoming known, my congregation had a part on the service meeting about 'forming attachments with those outside the organization'.

Yes I did before marrying a dud, after divorcing a dud, and dating a dud after getting DA'd! I think that about covers everyone. Maverick
