    JT,

I know what you meant by this statement:

Ken, what if you were sitting in your swing and thought and said nothing; and instead where just openly and silently present with life's embrace? What then?

Sometimes I have a closeness with nature when I sit there just observing the birds, looking out across the trees and flowers. I even give thanks to God for the experience of being here, although I really don't know what or who God is. If you could just remain in this state, life would be so good. But to me this is not reality but a moment in time that you can enjoy life as it should be, then the mail truck comes by and leaves all those bills, a bird shits on your head and the phone rings and your granddaughter just had a seizure and is being rushed to the emergency room. That is reality.

    Ken P.
