His HBO specials are hilarious - "Lock and Load" and "No Cure for Cancer" - social satire, check em out on video if you haven't seen them. (Warning - social satire and *language*)
I also like him cause although he rails against the system, he's still a patriotand tries to better things and not just complain about them. He started the NYC FIreman's Fund after 9/11.
