JWBOT, interesting insight. I think many JWs have "done it" but they're real careful as to who knows it.

Despite the fact that the strangle hold is less today and the "end" has been put off in the minds of many, the Society still has a strong influence on the way people behave, including its young people.

What I do see is young people pairing off at a very young age, many 16 year old girls with boys in their late teens.

I agree with eyeslice. On the whole, I'd say no. I can only think of one case that was public knowledge when I was a teenager, and that was this other kid around my age who ran off with a pioneer sister double his age. That was a big scandal (he was 15). People did start dating at very young ages, and there were a lot of folks getting married in their teens. That troubled me.

Not long ago, my daughter told me how ALL of her girlfriends in the "truth" were NOT virgins. And these "sweet" girls that I "know'' have done everything from smoking, drugs and drinking/drunkeness to what the Society calls "loose conduct", heavy petting, oral sex and "regular sex". A couple of these girls (they're in their 20's now), even have experimented with a little lesbianism......So, I think "doing it" happens more than we might think!

This was one of the issues my daughter had with the "in" crowd! Most of the Elders kids were the biggest sex fiends! She hated how phony they were and told me so! She was 13 at the time! Maverick

By the way, I do think there are a number of modest, virginal young ones in the organization, too. But, I was really stunned to know thru my daughter what these "good girls" all did.......Of course, my daughter was a "good girl", too.

First of all ,I want to say that Minimus has become a horny, sick, sex crazed bastard, who has taken over for Logansrun(bradly) with all this nasty talk....and I'm telling his wife to tell him to knock it off!!!

Little dubbies are nastier and hornier and less faithfull than I ever imagined, and did not know of dub promiscuity.....untill I exited and learned of stories from ex-dubs who cared to share it.

Assemblies has a lot of "hokey 'pokey' " going on I never imagined. There have many threads on " did you 'do it' when you were a single dub?", and MANY have expressed they did the nasty before marriage. I think many of my friends 'did it' when we were young and dating little dubbie girls that became their wifes. I never did and was a sqeeky clean virgin dubite

I always wondered how dubs 'that did it' while single....then 10-15 years later are elders or pioneers, ...live with their conscience that they have been hiding a "serious sin" that SHOULD HAVE BEEN REPORTED, for these all these years. There are MANY who are guilty of sins that they would be Dfed for if they NOW told on themselves......because they have "covered over sin".

It's more common than you think, it always has been. Back in the 60's my mum and dad did the dirty before they were married (and dad wasn't my mum's first) and my dad did it with his 2nd wife before they were married while he was an elder. I know of many other couples in their 50's who did too but the trend seems to have been that they did but were not as promiscuous as kids these days - they married their first or second partner. It was the same when I came through teenage years 15 to 20 years ago where people were doing it with a few more people before leaving the dubs.

Did I do it before I was married? I'm df'd, what do you think?

As an elder for many years, many girls did, most boys didn't. Or maybe the sisters confessed , whereas the brothers didn't?

What if a new virus starts called "dub aids". This is a special virus that only dubs have cuz dubs usually do it with only other dubs, so the nasty sin doesn't seem quite as nasty. If a dub does it with a worldly person, Jehovah gits madder than if you do it with another dub.
