A classic derby moment, first in our new stadium and we stuffed Man Utd 4-1, ruining their title hopes and possibly saving ourselves from relegation.

Are Man Utd on the decline? They are nowhere near the top in the league this season and were dumped out of Europe too. All we need now is for Arsenal to do them in the cup and they finish with NOTHING !! he he he

I knew taht installing those remote-controlled telescopic goalposts would be a good move!!!

Yeah, but when we do win, we WIN

Remember the Dennis Law 'backheel' that relegated United? For those who don't know he has spent most of his career as a United Player and was finishing it off at City. He really intended to pass the ball to United's keeper but it went in ... you have to see the most unenthusiastic goal celebration ever for relegating his old club.

Best one was the 5-1 rout when David White was playing (that was a good City team).

They do come too infrequently though. City are very erratic ... good to watch though - always plenty of goals.

    always plenty of goals

Yes, and nearly always in the back of City's net! He He.

Enjoy your victory while you can - you'll be back in the woodwork as quickly as you came out of it.

I wonder why City aren't in the FA Cup any longer???

he he ... I bet you didn't think at the start of the season that it might be all you could hope to win? Trouble is, you have Arsenal to beat who have left you behind in the league already.

I'd hate to see Utd knocked out by a Southern, London club ... no, I really would. I'd be gutted seing them get nothing from the season ... I'd very nearly be in tears.

Is it me or do United seem to be unravelling lately? No club stays at the top forever and sooner or later, the team changes and the magic goes. I think Utd fans have to face the possibility that the ballance of power has shifted and they will become like Liverpool fans - yearning for past glories but never getting to see their team recreate them.

Fergusson seems more interested in money and the politics about his transfer deals may be taking his attention and damaging his abilities. Quite a few deputies have moved elsewhere and seem to be able to snatch the players that he was looking at.

I'm sure we can bring something down to the BBQ with us.

Let's hope it isn't commiserations on your (or our) relegation!
