HMMMMM... My first reaction is to say "HOME", but next I'd have to admit being with Nick is better than just being home.

I like to go down to the ocean.

No people, just me and the water, birds, sky overhead, it may be blue or it may be starry.

Walking the shoreline, in tune with the rhythm of the waves. Breathing the salt air. Dabbling in the tide pools. Picking up cool rocks. Finding a crystal or a beautiful shell or beach glass.

I love when it's windy and bleak - my mind gets swept clean.

Colorado...in the Fall when the Aspen trees are golden-yellow. Sitting on top of a mountain just looking around...that clears my mind.

Alternate ? The Gulf of Mexico, South Padre Isle...I love the rythm of the waves and the clean lack of mankinds "improvements".

Quietly...being in my sea kayak, when the water is like a glass mirror...I can get so close to birds and other wildlife. No noise, no pollution and no tracks...the loudest sound is my SLR cameras' shutter' ... click - clack

And of course holding my wife in my arms...anywhere.
