It's a fact that many Jehovah's Witnesses know the truth about what's going on in the organisation and about its past history, with all its lies, its broken promises and its lying in bed with the United Nations. These Jehovah's Witnesses consider themselves good Christians knowing these facts and yet they still go along with it and help promulgate lie after lie after lie after lie. Thousands upon thousands of sincere hearts have been broken and are still set to be broken because of their holding on to false hopes.

It's a fact that this forum is visited by Jehovah's Witnesses still loyal to Watchtower and in spite of the countless truths exposing Watchtower here these same Jehovah's Witnesses remain loyal to it. What's with you people? Have you no guts? Is there no-one among you willing to stand up in all true Christian conscience and admit you've been wrong? Are you too afraid to admit you've been following a false prophet all this time? Are you too cowardly to stand up and take any vilification that might come your way? Why?

If you seriously believe in God and you seriously believe you are a good Christian can you not see that your Creator will applaud your actions for exposing this heinous organisation for what it truly is and that your name will be written down in God's book for salvation? What's with you people?

How can you go on the ministry trying to enmesh other innocent people in Watchtower's web of lies and deceit? Do you honestly believe you won't be made accountable for playing your part in these lies and deceit? Do you honestly think God would genuinely give his blessing to an organisation that is an affront to Christianity, breaks families up and literally has the blood of countless thousands - or even millions - on its hands?

What's wrong with you? Are you a coward? You're not going to be burnt at the stake like some greater than you have been! These had real guts - so what's your problem?

Knowing all the absolute travesties Watchtower has been involved in and is involved in today how can YOU in all good Christian conscience not get out of her before you share in her woes? For goodness sake have some courage for once in your life and stand up against this tyrannical organisation. We'll support you all we can!

If you can continue to carry on serving Watchtower with its false anointed remnant then I can only say one thing:

I have participated in 12-step group, re alcoholism. I learned one thing, people live in denial and you can't force them to see the facts. It takes time and being kind and ready to be there to support them when they do make a tentative step. I consider that many like me made that tentative step by lurking here. Eventually I was outraged by what I read about child abuse and took the step to participate by posting. How long did that take, over a year. Those who are reading may not feel they have a window of opportunity to leave yet. They may be taking steps to be able to do that like Amazing did and was able to get all of his family to leave when he finally did. Others may need to take steps to be financially safe when they leave. You can force a bulb to bloom but it doesn't last long. It is better for people to blossom naturally in their own time so they will continue blossoming year after year.

Well said and a perfectly legit observation.

Saw the Passion the other day and during the scene where Jesus says "I am the Way, the Truth and the Light" (which is also recorded in the bible) I was reminded of how JWs abuse the WORD and the TERM truth, throwing it around willy nilly, claiming exclusive right to it, using it to describe THEMSELVES all the while needing to lie, cover up and hide to keep the facade going.

(I added (which is also recorded in the bible) to point out the other false claim they make - that being that they are the only ones who really follow the bible, yada yada)

I highly respect what you say and cannot disagree. My main aim is at those in higher positions within the organisation. However, it cannot be denied that if someone knows they are promulgating a lie they should not pass that lie onto others, giving them false hopes and, inevitably, a painful future. It cannot be acceptable for one to do all one can to get one's own family out and yet still potentially injure others in the process.

I could not not in all good conscience start a Bible study knowing full well that I didn't believe in it but was doing it merely for appearances for family. I could not in all good conscience deliver books and literature to householders offering false hopes and promises while I didn't believe it myself. It is ethically wrong and hypocritical. Once I knew Watchtower was wrong I was out of there immediately!

By all means attend meetings and fade gradually if one has to. But don't assist in hurting others with a false message.

Many who stay in avoid talking to anyone about the WTS message. I was talking to my husband and he said he always used the Bible and never placed any literature and worked by himself for that very reason. Finally, he just stopped going out and said he did. Then when he stopped attending meetings, no more phantom field service. There are an amazing amount of people who go to the meetings who never comment, don't participate in the school, and don't go out in field service, but who still attend meetings sporadically to be able to keep contact with their family/friends. I have seen people here on JWD make gradual progress over several months, a year, 2 years, and finally just stop attending.

I understand there are people who know it is wrong but stay because they enjoy the authority of being an elder, being married to an elder, etc.

But many people stay out of fear. Growing up in a house of abuse, I understand that kind of fear. With some the fear of staying finally outweighs the fear of leaving. Or perhaps love for their family members who are suffering, such as children, will move them to leave. Or they might find people who will love and support them and protect them from the abuser if they leave.

The ones who support the lie know who they are. I have found people like that wherever I go in life. They are scary. But I try hard not to let them control my life.

Well heres the story of the new convert now elder that introduced me to the truth..... When I met him he was a Idealistic and sincere in short a thoughly decent man

. As a dedicated beliver I moved to sweden. Discoverd Thousands of things which I articulated to him by phone ....His reply was ....".Well all my friends are at the Kingdom Hall" He then became ex-directory with a different phone number and as a coincidence so have many I planned to ring.

Sadest thing was seeing a basically decent man change.(I would never of become a witness if the sincere man I first met was the man he is now.)

I hope with time....someday we a be able to sit down and laugh about it. I mean(For us both) its not nice discovering all your goals, hopes and asperations for the future can be broken so easily.

I mean even my wife the most level headed person in the world...Attended all the MEETINGS but only did it FOR ME and was never a beliver gets very cross if I critizise the N:W:T. and this is a girl that doesnt read the bible.

To illustrate I think the problem is if you were a Nazi reading Hitlers Mein Kamp you would feel very good about being a Nazi..And the same is true when you read a Watchtower Publication (Take Revelation its Grand Climax at Hand) ..as a witness you feel very good about yourself .The whole book is Praising Jehovers Witnesses The Organisation and as a Consequence You for being a part of it..... God is really out the picture.

And when you become that indoctrinated It can make Good Men Bad.

Well here I go again. I am disagreeing with Blondie...Who are you hiding from? By staying in the Borg!!!? If we truly believe that it is GOD( Jehovah) we serve while we are in the WT. My reading of scripture says "GET OUT OF HER MY PEOPLE"!!! If we think we belong to God- then SCAT!!! OBEY!!!!!Jesus had no respect for hypocrites... "Whitwashed Graves"Yes I know you will lose Mothers,Fathers, brothers, Sisters, -but at least God told us before hand> we lose all on account of the Christ. Glad they got that right. Imagine How many you could be used to help free from error -if you stood up & got counted.Not only on here ( Which I know you have done) But by going out into the world - Speaking on T.V. radio's ,churches, Let them see a 'refugee" . And here we have two of my favouite posters "Mouthy" and "Blondie" seeing things differently.

And on this one I think you are both right....Because you both follow your heart and nothing else...And that is what Christianality is all about...Being the individual God made us to be..Likeing a good argument but having the stuff to back it up.

.And most of the time there isnt a right or wrong...Its where we are as Individual.And at this moment in time.we are not part of the Watchtower convere-belt.

Well, you know what they say about people who are "happy in their own pile of s##t"...? They obviously like it there, because no matter what they "say", they do little or nothing to change where they are. It is their private comfort zone.

We just have to let them go.....
