You can't really "help" them leave unless they really want to. The problem faced is that the fear inspired by leaving the WT runs so deep that it's tough for them to make the jump from thinking of leaving to wanting to leave.

Reading everyones experiences on this site, one thing is evident. We are all very different. Some of us "Stumbled" over personal experiences with elders, others were shocked by the U N scandal and child abuse issues, others simply questioned the written beleifs of the WTS

My point is that there is no single method which will always work .. The person him/herself has to be ready to consider a new point of view, then it is a question of knowing the individual and what may light his fire.

If there is a panacea to help them out, please let me know
